I think this was the house had been ANNA & KRISTOFF in the past. That was why the box with the hat was there for RUMPLE to find.
Elsa will recognize the house if she ever goes by it ….. ANNA and Kristoff are trapped somewhere in the house. IN the future Elsa will find a way to free her sister DESPITE the Snow Queen trying to stop her.

I too think it mat belong to Anna/Kristoff but also maybe the Snoq Queen since she wasn’t apart of the curse, so she probably just conjures her own home. Either way, the box is the main thing. I think Anna is in the box hat thing. Besides Rumpel and Anna, the apprentice, and the sorcerer who would have had the thing in their possesion? Hmmm soe many thoughts >_<
