Well both Jasmine’s and Narisa’s costumes are neither old-ladish nor old-fashioned. Is she in disguise? Jasmine leaves her palace for the market places and disguises herself in peasant cloak, so this could be that..

No idea what to make of the costume clue, but she certainly looks Jasmine-ish to me.

TV Guide has confirmed Lauren McKnight has been cast as Elizabeth (aka “The Lizard”) from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland!

I’m so excited for Once Upon a Time in Wonderland! — Marcus
NATALIE: Join the club! I’ve learned that My Super Psycho Sweet 16 Lauren McKnight has landed a potentially recurring arc as Elizabeth, a native of Wonderland who finds herself entangled in Alice’s quest. Word on the street is that Elizabeth is also known as The Lizard, but it’s unclear whether there’s a connection to  this lizard.

Here’s the casting call for Liz/Lizard…

For Once Upon A Time in Wonderland episode 1.04, the recurring role of Liz/Lizard is being cast. She’s a 25-year-old adorable tomboy.

So, she’s a native of WL, so I guess those BTS pics weren’t of Merry Men in FTL after all.

Hmmm. The only Lizard I know of in WL is Bill the Lizard but he was a very minor role.

Yeah now I’m really confused. So Will isn’t Will Scarlett, maybe if those weren’t the Merry Men.

He could still be Will Scarlet. We know the Knave’s story involves FTL, we know Robin is gonna be on OUATinWL, and the Knave’s accent fits for being one of Robin’s men.

It’s funny, because those pics are what led us to think about people associated with Robin still being in FTL in present day, and now we’ve had it confirmed that Robin is in FTL in present day, but those people in the pics weren’t his people. 😆

We know we’re going to see Robin Hood in OUATinWL so, it’s possible we’ll still meet RH’s Merry Men and that Will could still be Will Scarlett.

Introduced in chapter four, Bill is perceived by Alice to be someone who does all of the hard work for The White Rabbit and the denizens of the community. When Alice becomes stuck in one of The White Rabbit’s house’s rooms from drinking from an unlabeled bottle that made her grow uncontrollably, the rabbit’s attempts to get in through the door and window fail. Bill the Lizard is sent to go through the chimney to investigate, since he and another creature have a ladder in their possession. Unwilling to let Bill get through the chimney, Alice uses her now huge foot, which is in the chimney, to kick Bill into the air. He manages to survive the fall thanks to the fellow creatures.

Reappearing in chapters eleven and twelve, Bill is a juror in the trial of The Knave of Hearts’ supposed theft of The Queen of Heart’s tarts. When his pencil squeaks too much on his slate, it annoys Alice to the point that she takes the pencil from him. Not knowing where it went, Bill the Lizard starts using his finger to write, even though it left no mark on the slate. In chapter twelve, he becomes disheveled when the “mile-high” Alice disturbs the jury by messing up the jury box. When Alice puts Bill the Lizard back in his place, he stares blankly up in the sky. Then later, the Queen provides ink for Bill when she spills ink on his face.

I’m gonna guess that they wanted to use something from within that character to base their own character on, but didn’t wanna have a talking lizard, so instead they made the character a female whose name could translate into Lizard as a nickname.
