I thought Bae was supposed to be in a land, where magic didn´t exist. So his father would be normal again.
But that would mean he can´t be in Wonderland, because magic definitly exists in Wonderland (you don´t die if they cut up your head).
Or did I rememeber something wrong?[adrotate group="5"]October 17, 2012 at 12:24 pm #157016antbeeParticipant@Mondschnee wrote:

Or did I remember something wrong? No, you remembered right. There are some fans who believe that because Rumple did not go with Bae like he was suppose to that the bean then took Bae somewhere else that did have magic because Bae’s situation had changed. Then, there are others like me who aren’t fond of the idea right now because it seems like a cheat to say that he was going to go someplace that didn’t have magic, but then change it later on.
Not that they couldn’t do it, and maybe I might end up liking whatever they do if Bae went to Neverland, Wonderland, Oz, etc., but I still believe he just came here sometime in the mid 1990s, ended up in foster care, and probably met Emma in foster care.

I mean, it was alluded to (with the Looking Glass, and Jefferson’s hat, etc.) that there were multiple ways of travelling to-and-from different worlds; as long as the world you left and the world you arrived in both had magic. Rumple was probably aware of those methods…I’m almost certain he knew people who could get to Wonderland and Neverland…But then how would the writers explain why he couldn’t reach his son? He could visit those worlds but he didn’t try? Or he tried looking in Wonderland, that “specific annoying little world”, but missed Bae? That he cast the curse by mistake and brought Bae over with everyone else in FTL? Or maybe Bae learned how to travel between worlds independently of the curse? All interesting possibilities…but to me it’s one too many twists. I really think Bae ended up in the land without magic. And most importantly we have to remember – Bae doesn’t like magic. Even simple magic to heal a scraped knee.
BUT that doesn’t mean boring old non-magical Bae can’t still have an amazing story. 😀 Bae is still a “lost boy” after all, which might hint at his role in the future. We still know he’s brave, to a fault. That he thinks he can fight. I can’t wait to see where they take his character!
And yes, I am aware that this thread is not about Bae, but the Mystery Man. My two cents: I wouldn’t mind if Michael Raymond-James plays a major character like Baelfire, because he’s a powerhouse actor and all the emotional scenes would be amazing.

There is a lot of Wonderland clues, but there are more characters in Wonderland than the White Rabbit. (Though March Hare has been suggested as well). What if he’s Cheshire Cat??? Ches can disappear and reappear at will, perhaps this is a way he avoided the curse? Or what if he’s Tweedledum and the postcard came from Tweedledee (visa versa) that is in Storybrooke, we just haven’t met him yet? Just some more Wonderland thoughts for ya!

I do think the Mystery man is Bae BUT I also think that all the things in the apartment also allude to The White Rabbit. The clocks, the monocle’s, the Hatter poster…add to that the way he is dressed (a suit) similar to the White Rabbit’s attire…also the phone falling out the window as if falling down a hole (a rabbit hole)…
I’m thinking he is the White Rabbit? March Hare? Like Keie said about dressed the same
