NBC has also ordered Emerald City, a modern 10-episode re-imagining of the classic Frank L. Baum books that inspired everything from The Wizard Of Oz to Wicked. Official logline: “A head-strong 20-year-old Dorothy Gale is unwittingly sent on an eye-opening journey that thrusts her into the center of an epic and bloody battle for the control of Oz.”

I heard about both of these projects. The Sound of Music live production was awful, I’m really surprised NBC would make another go with Peter Pan. Unless this new version of Oz is like Tin Man, it’s probably going to be horrible.

I have no desire to see either of these.

I may check out the Oz one but I can’t imagine it being very good.

Hey we should atleast give the Oz show a shot :3 I was initially uniterested in OUAT until I heard Kristin Van What’s-Her-Name was playing Maleficent in the second episode. Then I was hooked. So I will give the first episode a try

I would watched Emerald City, it intrigues my fancy. And I’m in the mood for some more fantasy in my life. I already like Grimm and Law and Order and Crossbones from NBC. So I might enjoy new Oz as well. 🙂

Watcher I will watch with you. 😉
