So if you were watching the Olympics tonight, chances are you saw something rather startling: a trailer for Heroes, the superhero show that aired several years ago. It ran for 4 season on NBC before being cancelled. Looks like NBC is bringing it back for one final hurrah.
I know many of us around these parts watched it (I did). So..excited? Or nervous? Let’s face it, S3 and S4 were mind boggling and just plain odd.
OMG, I fangirled so hard. I was checking my tumblr and saw a post about it. I thought it was a joke at first and then saw that trailer. I really couldn’t sleep last night. I was so excited.
I loved the show and was hanging onto the hope that they would do a mini series, then they wouldn’t and now they are. I hope all the original actors can come back (not likely) but if only three or four are available, I’m fine with that.
Must have Jack Coleman (HRG), Hayden and Milo, Zach, maybe Masi.
I am tentatively excited. I want to see who they get back first. Masi has to come back and my other top picks would be Hayden and Milo. I hope they get Zach as well but since his career just shot off over the past few years, that might be harder.
But most importantly, I hope they return to the storytelling ways of S1 when it was just flat out EPIC
I agree. Most of the actors have gone onto new projects now, it would be harder to get them for long term roles. Cameos are a different story though.
Must have HRG though. And Milo and Hayden.
Season one was the best.
Where’s the trailer?

I’m not that excited about it, I once loved the show but they really went out of their way to ruin a lot of the core characters personalities and just muddle up the plot and continuity.

That’s why I am very hesistant to get excited. S1 and most S2 were stellar but then S3 and S4 just got so super complicated and bizarre that I don’t know if I could even tell you about it now…
I wasn’t a fan of season two. Multiple arcs felt dragged out (mainly Hiro and Peter).
Yes! Yes! YES!!!! Maybe that’s the “big news” that Anders was tweeted about awhile back. Said it was too early to reveal. Loved him and Masi together. Hayden’s unlikely as she’s doing so well on Nashville (great show!).
