We were Brewing on this theory over in chat that Neal, who is MIA at the moment is going to be portrayed as Dorothy and that is why he is lost- he is trying to find his way home. There might be a flashback of a story where Neal ends up in Oz where he meets a Young Zelena before she turns green, possibly in the ep. “Its not easy being green” that is when they fall in love, so Neal is Z’s love interest who she has lost and is now looking for, hence why she says to Rumple that she wont have to spend a lifetime searching for Neal like Rumple had to.
Neal is Associated with fire- Bealfire and Z’ is with Water!
Neal’s Family is Emma and Henry, like Dorothy’s aunt and uncle in ‘Wizard of Oz’ is named Emma and Henry.
Then there is something with that globe- Rumple has that globe that can find people wich Neal apearantly used to find Emma. And Z’s problem with Regina is “a global one”??? I dont know if there is something to that but it just crossed my mind and puzzled me.

Wha exactly happen don’t know but I ac imagine that if Zelena turns green or is green from the start. Bae maybe give her the necklace as present, that she sees that green can be beautiful. But I am not sure that Neal wants to stay in a land where magic is intact or his father has the possibility to reach him, cause we know from Manhattan that Nal is running from rumple already a long time, which could mean that Rumple was near to get him, but that would be impossibile in a Land without magic. But if NEal was a while in OZ, Rumple could have found him.
In OZ Neal could then also learn how to use a globe. Before he went to NL and was in the DarkCastle he also listed some things how you can travel between lands. One of them where shoes, which Rumple was searching for by Jeff who told us they were already gone. So that would mean our Neal is a “Dorothy” searching for a home.
But still I ship WICKEDDADDY with all my heart 😛

The witch seems very much focused on Regina… If it turns out she is doing this over Bae, alot of people would be like “Say whaaa?” but hmm… This is interesting. Has the actor who plays young bae been present on the set as far as we know?

That was pretty much confirmed in 313, Witch Hunt, when he did not know about flying monkeys or that Oz was a real place.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"yea, I think Neal is too Z lost guy or what ever he left NL and went to OZ after all he is what 30 some years old he hasn’t been in the States for the 14 or 12 years so yea I think Neal was in OZ.
But maybe he didn’t say something, that Belle would get a line in this Episode.

Neal was in his 20’s when he met Emma we think. He mentioned having worked as a janitor at the watch place, so presumably he was in the States for at least a year perhaps but we don’t know. He could have been anywhere from the time he left NL at 14, so who knows.
Still between people speculating that time doesn’t move in Oz, and Neal’s lack of knowledge of it, I don’t think it would seem like Neal ever met Zelena. He’s more likely her half- brother anyway at this family tree rate.

I don’t think Zelena & Bae are connected, other than through Rumple in some way (and I’m not sure I’m leaning to Rumple being Z’s daddy either…)
I think Emma’s Dorothy. I know, A&E said she’s her own character but 1) things change and 2) A&E say a lot of stuff that’s misleading. From the beginning, Emma’s story has revolved around family and home…she has found her family and made peace with who they are, and 3B will show Emma finding her own definition of ‘home’.
