First of I have to say that Tallahassee is probably one of my favourite episodes if not my favourite episode as I has given me so much to think about and it also made me like Emma a whole lot more than I did prior.
You can also take it from the this title that I do believe that Neal is Bae. The reason for this belief is simple, the dagger. The only person that knew about the dagger was Baelfire so how could August know about it and what it looks like to have a drawing of it and know how to use it against Rumple. I think Neal told August who he is and his relationship to Rumplestiltskin. He also drew a picture of the dagger or described it well enough for August to draw it and also how the dagger is used. How else would August know all of these things plus know that the easiest way to get a hold of the dagger would be to pretend to be Bae?
I don’t think the power of the dagger and it’s use in controlling the Dark One was common knowledge in fairy tale land or it would have been like, to use a Harry Potter reference, the elder wand and constantly changing ownership as power would have been a huge draw card to just about anyone.

but I think that the information about the dagger and Baelfire comes from the Blue Fairy. August was by her and she knew about Baelfire, because she was the one who send him to a land without magic and she is also a very powerful magic being, so she will know everything about the dark one.
I think that August didn’t know or didn’t find out, that Neal is Bae. He said that Neal is only captured in the “Crossfire”, so whatever was in the box, would a normal living person believe in magic. I believe too that the word “Crossfire” is a hint from K&H that he is Baelfire.Heros don't get their Happy Ending!

I really don’t think Neal/Bae would tell August about the dagger and how to use it.
That was a highly guarded secret….Bae saw the consequences of what happens to someone (Enora) who even possibly had that knowledge.I mean, yeah, his father let him go, betrayed him and broke their deal, but, I don’t think he would want him dead.
By telling August that info, thare’s always a chance that info could fall on the wrong ears and Rumple could end up dead….or whoever else might have that info could end up dead.
I don’t think August knows who Neal is…if he is Bae (which I think he is).
I don’t think he would want to run the risk of his father knowing where he was…while I don’t think he wants him dead, I don’t think he wants to see him any time soon, either.Plus, if August had the info as to who/where Bae was, why the ruse with Rumple? Why not just make a deal…..Rumple’s help in exchange for the where abouts of his son…wouldn’t that have been easier?

(Or at least worry about how many people might know–because I always figured that as the centuries went on less and less people might be clear on controlling/ridding of the Dark One otherwise I suspect we would have seen Regina or even possibly Cora looking for it to control Rumple).

Even if Bae didn’t care if his father was killed with the dagger -(which I think he’s more kind hearted than that, despite what his father did to him)- he would care about the fate of the person/people who knew that info…..like I said, Bae saw what happened to Enora.

I Don’t believe Bae told August because there would be no reason to do so if I’m correct in saying it was the drawing of the dagger in the box.
Ithink Hook found the knowledge of the dagger in Neverland by a fairy or maybe even Bae himself,Keeper of Swanfire's dream catcher, the Blue Fairy Plot Device, the contact name "Her", the lanyards, the trigger, the Netherworld room and necklace, Charming's quote on Thanksgiving, and PP's pic of Henry
