I was thinking about how Neal could possibly return to StoryBrooke or Neverland and came up with this theory…

What if Jefferson uses a magic hat to get Neal back?

Here’s my theory: Jefferson, even though his hat was destroyed, seems like he knows how to make hats to travel. Henry did help Jefferson reunite with his daughter, so he might owe Henry. He hears from Belle that Henry was taken to Neverland and that Neal is Rumple’s lost long son AND Henry’s father. Upon learning that Neal was transported to another land, he uses his hat to try to find him. He finds him using the portal room and brings him back or takes him to Neverland. Let me know what you all think.

I would LOVE to see Jefferson again. Just dunno if it’s likely right now, considering every time K&H are asked about him coming back, they talk about Sebastian being a busy guy and scheduling being tricky, but they’ll always have the door open to him to come back if possible. Unless they’re being especially sneaky, it doesn’t sound like there are immediate plans for more Jefferson.

Jefferson couldn’t create a magical hat all on his own, that’s why he forced Emma into making one for him. That hat wasn’t magical when she made it, but it’s probably still lying around somewhere and may be workable now, with magic being back. Who knows if they have any plans to bring that hat back into play at any point. It would come in handy as a plot device if they wanted to bring Jefferson back at any point, though.

The hat that Emma made, last time we saw it at least, it was in her yellow bug. And now that magic is back, can’t Blue do something to it?? I’d love to see Jefferson back as well!

I’m anticipating some new modes of travel between the worlds. I’m still holding out on Dr. Whale inventing a machine that uses science to travel between the worlds, possibly sending him to Oz eventually to become the Wizard of Oz.

I could definitely be wrong, but I’m eager to see the devices they come up with to travel between the worlds.

Maybe they’ll pull a pirates of the Caribbean, and enter Davy Jones’s Locker (accessed from neverland), which is a between-world that allows people to travel to other worlds.

Maybe Davy Jones’ locker is how Hook escaped Neverland the first time. This could also touch on his last name being Jones.

Davy JonesLocker seems like a very Neverland-ish type place. Neverland seems very dark and is known for Fairies and Pirates (besides Peter Pan of course) so I’d like to see that happen. It fits.

If Killian Jones isn’t related in some way, shape or form to Davy Jones, I’ll be terribly disappointed, because I’ve been hoping for a connection there ever since we learned Killian’s name.

Names are so important in this show!
    1) They didn’t tell us Graham’s last name because it gave away who he was
    2) They have yet to reveal Tamara’s last name (Hood, Fox, Locksley?)
    3) “Whale” as the big clue to who Frankie was.

Naming him “Jones” has to be deliberate.

They definitely love to play with names. I think the Jones is going to be important, and Davy Jones locker is interesting. Perhaps that is where the wraith takes souls, and from there, you can get to NL?

I am not sure Neal goes back to SB. I don’t think given that people think he is dead, that anyone is looking for him. The only thing is once he wakes up and talks to Aurora, she might try to get in touch with Henry or Snow. We know Snow needed poppy powder to get that deep sleep, and that Henry is now in a nightmarish place. I think it is more likely Henry would have nightmares, and that Aurora would reach him and once Neal knows Henry is in NL–that is the only place he would want to go.

Unless they don’t want to revisit the Red Room to keep the story fresh, but in that case, who knows. Belle will be looking for Rumple, not Neal. She might find Neal in FTl, thinking that is where they went. She could then talk to Jefferson but like the others said, it is unlikely the actor is available.
I have wanted more out of Whale for awhile but keep getting disappointed.

That could be, and it seems that Neal has suffered from nightmares (his interest in the dreamcatcher).

First, Sebastian Stan is finished filming Captain America: Winter Soldier and has nothing scheduled for another film (From IMDB). Wouldn’t he want to spend some time with his girlfriend, Jennifer Morrison. This is what I would do.

Second, so far, we’ve seen these objects open portals/transport people: Magic beans, wardrobes, looking glass, and magic hat. The portals got to play another part. I like the idea of Davy Jones’ locker but it seems too on the nose for this show, but then again Neal was too.

The reason why Jefferson couldn’t make the hat magical is because there was no magic in Storybrooke. It was before the curse was reversed. Watching it originally, I thought that Emma made another hat and that was the one on the ground when he was pushed out the window. That means, there are two hats around town, one destroyed by Spencer and another one (someone mentioned it was in Emma’s car).

I still think that Whale will be revealed as the Wizard of Oz. It was heavily implied that he was the Wizard when it aired and it would be interesting how they would incorporate that into the story. I don’t like the space travel machine idea, it seems too out there for this show. I’m wondering how they could introduce the other characters.

I hate the idea of the return of the red fire room. That was an interesting plot device back then but it has run it’s course and needs to be forgot.
