Rumple seemed ok with the idea of Emma and Neil/Bae having a second chance at being together. I think the idea of his son marrying into royalty and becoming a prince/future king would please Rumple very much. After all, living in the dark castle didn’t make him a king and his true love Belle wasn’t a princess ether. No matter how much money he has, he’ll never be a king. So imo, I could totally see Rumple pulling strings or at least highly encouraging a reconciliation Between Bae/Emma. When he was breaking into Bae’s Apt, one of the things Rumple wanted to know about his son in addition to what he did for a living was also who Bae loved. Why would that matter? I’m curious to see Rumple’s reaction to his sons engaement/ fiance because its only a matter of time before he finds out anyway. From the looks of things, Rumple wants Bae in SB and anything that would make him stay in NY or anywhere else would seem most unwelcomed in Rumple’s eyes

He knows and on certain levels respects Emma at this point. He trusts her so much he was willing to tell her one of his most guarded secrets–and he struggles to tell even Belle his secrets. He’s a pretty good judge of human nature most of the time–I don’t think he’s just relying on his ability to see the future to play people the way he does. So when he recognized the way that they looked at each other in Neal’s apartment, and when he watched Emma’s face at his suggestion, he had a pretty good idea that they did love each other. I think he does totally ship them, but it’s because he thinks Emma is a good choice in general and already has that spark of love for his son.
Doesn’t mean for a second he won’t use it to his advantage where possible (like in trying to get Bae to come to Storybrooke through Emma). He’s Rumplestiltskin, after all.

I still DESPISE TAM-WHORA… but, but, but, I think she does know Neil from Neverland and I think he may be trying to help her with some problem. She could be the catalyst that sends them all back to Neverland, and then that might be ok. Maybe they will just introduce her as his fiancee at first to try and keep her secret? Because they didn’t seem too “in love” when she went up to him at the end of “The Queen is Dead”. Yeah, this is my new theory and I’m sticking to it. It makes putting up with her a little more acceptable.

March 6, 2013 at 9:40 pm #177675winlea78ParticipantWow! Strong words for a woman we all just met, I didn’t see her do anything wrong. I just think that Gold won’t like the idea of anyone keeping his son away from SB.
March 6, 2013 at 9:59 pm #177682thathelesParticipantShe’s in the way of SWANFIRE… that’s enough…
March 6, 2013 at 10:12 pm #177685lilredParticipantI don’t hate Tamara. But I don’t really think she’ll be a huge plot device to come between Swanfire. Or at least I’m hoping she’ll have a greater story to tell (and I kind of feel bad if she’s just going to be hanging around while Adam and Eddy made it really clear where everyone’s present love is..) Come on! In the few seconds we saw her, she was nothing but sweet and cool about everything – she was even comfortable that Neal is taking her car with some other woman. Not a second of jealousy or neediness just ‘hey, could we at least see each other before you leave town, with my car, for whatever you need to do…”
I’m interested in knowing how Bae explained everything to her, if she really is just a normal person from our world. 😆
March 6, 2013 at 10:22 pm #177690schmackyParticipantI really do want the scene after they cut.
Because if she was just cool with her fiance suddenly leaving town with her car with a beautiful blonde that she’s never heard of before, that seems a little too cookie cutter. She should at the very least have a few basic questions… where are you going? who is this? why do you need to leave right now? when will you be back?
