This article makes me think of August talking about the island of temptations? (quote me if I’m wrong) well, anyways, the end of this article is really juicy!

Enjoy! 😀
[adrotate group="5"]March 9, 2013 at 6:28 pm #178513piratesmermaidParticipantMaybe we’ll learn about the mermaids that live there, but won’t see them until season 3?! I’d be ok with that. 😀
March 9, 2013 at 7:41 pm #178524PriceofMagicParticipantPerhaps the tease will be to Peter Pan since we know Peter Pan isn’t going to be shown until season 3. I’m not entirely convinced Bae is Peter though I’ve been wrong before. I think Bae was either a pirate in Neverland or a Lost boy. Being Rumple’s son and Henry’s father already makes Bae an important character, he doesn’t need to be Peter Pan on top of that.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixMarch 9, 2013 at 10:15 pm #178565NobodyParticipantI think having Bae be Peter along with his two other identities is fitting. Rumple is a big enough character on his own but he’s also Cinderella’s fairy godmother, the Beast, and the Crocodile. Like father like son.
March 9, 2013 at 10:19 pm #178566gypsyParticipantThe fact that he is important because he’s Henry’s father and Rumplestiltskin’s son is the exact reason to have him be Peter Pan.
These are the LOST writers. On LOST, names were extremely important clues.
They gave him the alias Neal Cassady for a reason.
Neal Cassady doesn’t have Lost Boy connections, he has many Peter Pan connections. The real Neal Cassady was known as the Peter Pan of his generation, not the Lost Boy of his generation.

I agree with this line of thinking, because as Baelfire and Henry’s dad, Neal is already so central to the show. It would be a huge anti-climax for him to be someone as insignificant as a lost boy in Neverland. I believe Bae is going to be as pivotal in that world as he is in SB. Also, Emma wanted her codename to be “pumpkin” in Operation Cobra and lied to Henry that his dad would always order pumpkin pie –as in Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater, which I believe is an indicator of Henry’s dad also be the Peter Pan.

There was some quote from Paleyfest, and I don’t recall the exact wording, but it essentially implied that we’d be introduced to someone new by season’s end, but not actually see who they are yet. When I heard that, I wondered if perhaps they were hinting that at the very end of the season, maybe even the final shot, we’ll see Bae in Neverland, but it won’t be until next season that they explain who he was there.

Yes! I was fixated on the pumpkin pie being a nod towards Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater, but had connected it to Henry’s father having been a married man. But now it seems that it was just pointing to the name Peter.

I’m thinking that since we already technically know Bae, that they’ll be introducing us to the mermaids 😀 (and when I say thinking, I mean crossing my fingers and wishing on a 28th birthday candle :D)

March 13, 2013 at 4:27 pm #179654angiebelleParticipantI would really prefer that Bae is a lost boy and not Peter himself. Peter is usually very against growing up, and I want him to be his own character. Why would Bae rename himself Peter and then Neal? I think that perhaps Bae ended up going to Neverland because when his father didn’t join him in through the portal, he automatically became lost and was sent as a lost boy.
