My messages keep disappearing on this new chat and the messages of anyone that replies to me. It happens when the page is refreshed, when I change pages on the forum, when I reply in threads.

Keeper of FelixA few of us keep getting the formatting stuck. If I use bold or italics, then everything I type is in italics. I keep turning it off, which works at first, but it keeps turning back on again by itself.
Twice Upon A Time is having a similar problem, but can’t seem to turn the italics off at all.

Also, when you scroll up the page to read something, it jumps to the end every time someone says something.

I do like that if I click on someone’s name, it opens a whole new full-size page with the chat in it. Makes it easier to read when it’s fast paced and full of pictures. 🙂

It also seems like it will freeze unexpectedly. So, I keep having to refresh my whole page to see new posts.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"The chat doesn’t like it if you have multiple tabs of the site open, because then it starts acting up. This is somewhat annoying, as I like to have tabs of each forum section I want to browse through and I also typically make new tabs for the threads I read, too.
Whole entire conversation disappeared
I was on chat and had two tabs open one was recent spoilers and the other was the different threads, it was working fine and I could see the conversation on both pages. When I clicked on a thread and looked the entire conversation had disappeared and the last comments were from 2 hours ago. I closed the tab and left the other open, refreshed the page and tried logging in and out, nothing reappeared. I continued typing in chat and then again whatever I or the other person had posted disappeared showing the same last comments again but from 2 hours ago as previously.

Keeper of FelixI just discovered you can turn off the auto scroll in the chat if you want, while reading older posts. 🙂
Just click the gear icon (for settings) near the right, and uncheck “Scroll to latest message”.
