Maybe the bullet that Gold shoots back hits the outsider and he loses control and hits Hook (with his car). And thats why he is in such a bad condition that he needs surgery.I hope this makes sense, everything is just kinda pouring out right now 🙂

When the dwarves found the diamonds, Blue said that they were going to grind them to make fairy dust, so I think that they were able to make some before Gold suck the magic out of the ones left in the cave.
Also, what do you guys think about the weird moving purple sky over Regina’s house (0:41) when she pushes Emma with her magic??? Is someone doing some kind of big deal spell? Maybe it has something to do with the barrier around Storybrooke? Here’s a pic:
In addition, I’ve got an idea about the dream catcher. There’s a theory around that Archie is going to be the person “murdered”. So I think that maybe Pongo is going to be a witness to the crime but because he can’t talk, Emma uses the dream catcher to see into his dreams/head to see what happened. Also, I’ve seen that scene (Emma looking at the dream catcher) in slow motion & it seems to me like the dream catcher is showing someone turning & running very quickly (escaping). Also to me, this person seems to be wearing black/dark pants, dark vest & white/light shirt, the type of clothes that Archie wears (see Archie pic). I tried to trace the outline of this “person” so here’s the picture with it next to the original but cropped print-screen.
What do you guys think?
EDIT: OMG!!! It WAS Archie turning around very quickly inside the dreamcatcher’s picture thing!!! I’m so excited right now! ^_^
