I wonder if this is about Baelfire and Rumpelstiltskin.

If it was Baelfire and Rumple, they’d use Robert Carlyle, so I’m going to say that it is not Rumple and Bae.

Perhaps this may be a young Jefferson and his father. Jefferson must have learned portal jumping somewhere.

Maybe Hook and his father? This could be how Hook got involved in piracy.

I don’t know whether they would need to go that far back into Rumple’s history.

Perhaps the boy is Philip? This could be the episode where they revisit Aurora and Mulan on their quest to save Philip’s soul from the wraith.
