I’m thinking they’re still in the EF simply because I’m not sure how MAP would have gotten to Neverland. I think the core cast will be going to NL to find Henry (how they know where he is I’m not 100% sure on yet) but I don’t see why Neal + MAP would be in NL just yet. They may have some work to do to get back to the rest of the group.
I think the Lake Nostos water probably could heal him because you’re right, Ruth was going to drink it to heal herself. I’m not sure about whether it could wraith-soul-sucking or not though. It’s an interesting thought! Hope we get an explanation as to how he’s with them at some point even if it’s just quick and then sometime later hopefully we’ll fill in the gaps.
It doesn’t sound like S3, especially with the conflicts in actor’s schedules, will be much relating to MAP simply because I think they would have consulted with the actors and told them not to bother doing pilot season because they would be in most of the eps so maybe all of that could be S4. We still need Mal story…

I saw you all discussing that on page 3, plus I saw The Princess Bride talk as well .
The Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies. I watch it every chance I get when it’s on one of the movie channels.
But as I said before I am under the impression they could be in Neverland

Someone theorized that maybe Neal got sent to NL since he was between life and death as he fell through the portal and that lost souls end up there. It’s an interesting idea that I really like but I just don’t know how one would travel from EF to NL.

But where do you suppose that is? Is it NL-adjacent or EF-adjacent or somewhere else completely different?

On the other hand, if they are using Nostrols on Phillip and just hanging out by the safety of that lake when the portal brings Neal there, I could see it. They’d maybe see the portal open and rush forward to see what’s going on, because otherwise they are trapped.
(How about SleepingPhil for Phil and Aurora? Sounds like sleeping pill…and they do make me zzzzzzzz 😆 ).

That is my thinking. It just doesn’t make much sense for them to leave FTL. I like the idea of Neal ending up where the Wraith takes the souls he consumes but I just don’t know how anyone else would end up there. But now that we have the Lake Nostos theory, that has become my new leading theory as to where MAP and Neal are.

Phillip seems really sweet and we didn’t get much of him but he spent so much time fighting to get back from being a yaogui only to have to find a way to get to Aurora and wake her up! He needs more story.
Aurora was just getting spunky & feisty & all things good (Snow, Emma, and Mulan were good influences on her) right about the time her storyline disappeared. (Figures). Seriously her standing up to Cora was awesome and one of her best scenes.
Mulan…needs a bit more work for me. I liked her a little more when her hair was down and she was working with Belle. (Maybe it’s the hair…she just seems so unapproachable and soldier-esque when she was with the girls at the start of the season). Where’s Shang to chill her out?

Unfortunately for me, Mulan was quite a disappointment. Probably because I love the Disney Mulan so much! That’s my absolute favorite Disney Princess (Rapunzel and Ariel are right up there too!). I just feel really cheated since all my favorite things about the movie isn’t present. No Shang, no criket, no spunky grandma, and no MUSHU!!! FTL Mulan is soooooooooooooooooooo serious. I mean like oddly serious. I understand that she is a warrior but I wanted to see more personality. She’s clever and spirited in the Disney movie. And I know that this isn’t the Disney movie but I was so excited when I first heard that Mulan would be in S2. I thought they would do her justice. It just hasn’t felt that way for me. (Oh and I HATE that she is in love with Philip. Hate it!)
Okay, enough of my rant. I hope MAP is more exciting as well in the finale.
