I hope they’ll be more exciting too.
I’ve noticed with Once that a lot of the stories I hated growing up are so much better here, and the ones that I used to love are just ho-hum. Some are in between and still blow me away but still. I agree, I wanted Mushu and the cricket and the spunky grandma and Shang! Where oh where did they disappear to…

Started my season rewatch and wow…I forgot just how MANY threads there are still dangling from the beginning of the season, many of them MAP-related. Hopefully a little bit of that will be touched on but there’s still lots of backstory we need.

I had half a hope that the Dragon would be Mushu–but apparently that taser means we won’t see him again. He had some nice snark, so it is really too bad. I know they can’t fit in everything, for every character, but I feel like Mulan was pretty rushed and squished.

My guess on that is that Hook may overhear GOAT discussing it and pass the info on to the Charmings. Was Henry visible in the background when Charming punched Hook? Maybe that’s after Henry’s been taken, and Hook goes to tell them about it, and Charming is all, “You knew what they were planning and didn’t tell us sooner?! *BAM*”

This is pretty much perfect. 😆 I don’t hate ’em, but they haven’t had much relationship airtime to make me really care about them as a couple.
Having briefly skimmed the thread, I don’t see why Lake Nostros wouldn’t be able to cure Neal’s wound, since Charming tried using precisely it to cure his mother from a poison arrow one. And in a finale so full of things happening they can’t overextend themselves with this subplot.

That’s pretty much what I’m thinking as well. If this wasn’t the finale and had another million things going on, then there would be time for traveling all over the place and looking for Philip and new Wraith realm and what not.

That makes sense. I like that Hook will help them out. Maybe this is where Hook finds out about Neal/Bae. They say something about how Tamara shot Neal and now they are after his son Henry. And maybe also tell him to forget about his revenge aganist Rumple since there are more important things and he’s already suffering due to Neal/Bae being gone. I don’t know. Something like that.

I hope that Hook is thus far unaware of Nealfire having even been in town, because seeing them talking about Henry as Rumple’s grandson, and Nealfire’s son, and how Tamara shot him and now he’s dead…I wanna see Hook’s reaction when he puts all the pieces together.

But Ruth didn’t drink the water. She faked it and then let Snow drink it during the exchange of vows at the wedding. If she had drunk the water, it probably would have worked.

What I mean is that the show didn’t vent this possible use of the lake for no reason. Charming tried, it didn’t work, but the fact that Ruth didn’t really drink it leaves it open ended whether or not the waters of the lake can be used to cure wounds.
Like I said, the finale is so event packed that they can’t delve too long in a subplot; if not the waters of the lake, then it’ll be Mulan concocting a magical potion from various herbs, but that’ll be an even bigger stretch, won’t it?
