germanPearl – Didn’t Belle wake up from a nightmare in his bed looking around for him wondering where he was?
I think with this show they try to tease that kind of thing but not be too overt (ok we had Emma & Henry walk in on Snowing and then there was that whole James & Jacqueline thing) but I think they try to be more subtle most of the time and I coulda sworn that Belle woke up once looking around wondering why Rumple wasn’t with her. Or am I totally fangirling and imagining that scene?? (Not that it definitely implies anything mind you, we know nothing of specifics with that regarding Belle, just throwing that out there).
Ah, yes. The Rumbelle debate of “are they or aren’t they? did they or didn’t they?”
I think it’s left up to the viewers. Let your own imagination answer the question. 🙂[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 13, 2013 at 8:54 pm #179693germanpearlParticipant@RumplesGirl wrote:

Anyway, I know, my fantasy ran away with me. 😀 So, maybe or maybe not. We have to wait and maybe we get the answer to it. 🙂

March 13, 2013 at 11:37 pm #179727wackyoncerParticipantHello all, this is my first post….
germanpearl, I’m definitely in the “they did” category. Either way is possible, of course, but I doubt that a grown woman and 300-something year old man who are madly in love would share the same bed (there was definitely an imprint on the pillow where his head should have been) and do nothing but make goggle-eyes at each other. Especially since she was wearing a nightie the size of a hanky. And she looks like Emilie de Ravin.
Anyway, I know that’s an old debate but it does play into what I think now….I actually disagree that Rumple won’t let things go too far and then stop himself from giving in to Lacy’s advances. (I’m assuming there will be advances from her, due to the suggestion of “sexy times” and her nickname “racy Lacy”). I think the opposite. I think that Rumple will TRY to be good, but….well, we all know he ain’t that good! 😆 If the woman he loves is throwing himself at him when he’s been trying so desperately to get her back, I really can’t see him turning her down. I certainly don’t think they’ll SHOW anything graphic (Sunday night programming, after all) but I so think that’s what’s going to happen.
Of course, this may be wishful thinking. In two seasons we’ve seen a total of 3 Rumbelle kisses and one of them was IN A DREAM. Arrrrrrrrrrghh! 😡
March 13, 2013 at 11:38 pm #179728wackyoncerParticipantOf course, if the “they haven’t” camp proves to be correct, I take it all back. Rumple wouldn’t give in if it were her first time.
March 13, 2013 at 11:43 pm #179730RumplesGirlKeymasterI can see him turning Lacy down because that’s not the woman he loves. She’s not Belle, she has none of Belle’s memories or attitude and Lacy may feel something for Rumple after that phone call, but it’s not the true love of Rumbelle.
But Lacy is going to make it verrrrrrrry hard for him.

Completely agree with everything.
March 14, 2013 at 12:13 am #179744wackyoncerParticipantI see what you mean, RumplesGirl, and you’re right, that may be the way they take it. To play devil’s advocate, though….Rumple and Gold are incredibly different, yet Belle still loves him. Lacy isn’t a different person, in my opinion (although it’s hard to say until we see exactly what she’s like)…she’s another side of Belle. And to me it makes sense that she would have a wilder side as her Storybrooke self….she spent so long being controlled by others and she is such a controlled, honorable person herself. I think it makes sense that there’s a more risque person in there that perhaps she’s been afraid to let out.
I really can’t wait for this episode. RC is so great when he’s all angst-y and anyone who’s seen EDR’s crazy Claire from Lost knows she can rock a wild side. Just hope she doesn’t make herself a squirrel baby!
March 14, 2013 at 12:30 am #179750wackyoncerParticipantAlso, I have thought that this might be what breaks her curse….I don’t know if it was Adam or Eddy who said that “true love means loving that person no matter what” (paraphrasing) about whether or not Charming would still love Snow after what she’s done. I think it’s the same thing here. The first time around, Belle broke Rumple’s curse with true love’s kiss since she loved him unconditionally. This time, if Rumple embraces the “Lacy” side of Belle, loves her even though she isn’t perfect, whether she wants to work in a library or ride Harleys (or whatever she’s going to do…SERIOUSLY, can’t wait)…perhaps that’s what will bring her back.
Which of course doesn’t explain why true love’s kiss doesn’t break the Dark One curse (which is driving me INSANE) but you can’t have everything. 😉

I agree with you, RG. I think Rumple will see it that way…and I also think Rumple will try to respect her. Lacey will make it hard on him. I wanted to say though that in the interview with Eddie and Adam they said “Lacey” is the opposite of Belle. I’m pretty sure all this ‘racey lacey’ doesn’t sound like Belle at all anyway, and its even a stretch for it to be a different side of her. But of course…I don’t know for sure…and I’m so excited for the episode! 😉 😆 😛
