Let’s not forget, Emma does know that Hook and Neal know each other, though not details. She also knows that when she said Neal, he replied with Baelfire.

So I think he’d be hard put not to talk about how he knew her ex. Either she is going to ask, or he is going to seek her out. I think the latter. The part Emma does not know is Milah’s connection to Neal and to Henry.

I could see Hook having to tell Emma about Milah if she asked how he and Bae knew each other but I don’t see the Milah topic being a conversation that Hook would initiate. As much as he has said he won’t try to kill Rumple anymore, Milah is still a sore subject for Hook.

I agree, it would not come up as about Milah, but to say that was how he knew Baelfire, and the story of him being on the ship.
I don’t know if he will get to how Bae left the ship, but we will see.

Why wouldn’t he though?

This is just my interpretation, so don’t hate on me CS’ers, but I don’t think Hook is like totally in love with Emma right now. I think he likes her, I think he finds her intriguing and heroic and one heck of a woman. But he’s not to the point where he is so enamored of her that he won’t tell her important information that could hinder or stall their romance.

That’s how I see the current CS relationship too, RG. As well as that, if he’s wanting to prove himself trustworthy now, then being honest with her is sort of vital, whether romance is on his mind or not. He once said to her, “Try something new, darling. It’s called trust,” and they’ve each screwed the other over since then, but he did come back with the bean in the end, and he’s gonna try to do better. How can he expect Emma to try trusting him, if he’s not upfront with her from here on in?

Actually, I have to disagree. I think Emma already has an idea who Milah is from Tallahassee. Hook never specifically said Milah was Rumple’s wife but I think Emma knows, Rumpelstiltskin wouldn’t have gone after him if Milah wasn’t already involved with Rumple. Emma’s smart.

but it would be nice for Hook to sit down with Emma and tell her everything.

I disagree I don’t think Emma knows the connection with Rumble and Hook. Rumble had to tell Belle the connection so why would Emma even think that Milah was Rumbles wife.
