The theory that Glinda is evil has been around for years. If they saw her in a Pink puffy dress, big crown, and wand, they’d know who it was. Remember that Rumpel as a Glinda doll in his shop… Maybe he turned her into a doll and now she’s free… And very pissed off… Hell hath no fury like a Good Witch scorned. She’s one of the best female villians of all time, and not just in recent Disney history. This one even has her own theme music! Also, we can tell you that she is being brought in because now that Rumple and Regina have made peace, the writers felt they needed a new Big Bad and Mader’s character will definitely be at odds with Regina. We will hopefully have your very first look at Mader’s character (the new villain) on the night of Dec. 15 on E! I’m pretty sure Mother Gothel doesn’t have her own theme song. Cruella does.

Watcher pointed this out in chat but the Wicked Witch has her theme song too, but it’s one without lyrics. Just music. I think by theme song they mean something you can actually sing.
And of course the song is “if she doesn’t scare you, no evil thing will.” Yeah, I think she’s Cruella.

She has her own theme music and is classified as one of the most iconic villains of all time. The fact that he added the bit and not just in recent Disney history as opposed to just writing Disney History in a general sense if this was referring to Cruella considering that movie came out over fifty years ago. Could simply be a play of words considering OZTG&P came out this year.
That’s true. But there was also a live action 101 Dalmations movie with Glen Close not that long ago.
I would prefer the Wicked Witch because I don’t know how Cruella could be a season long villain. But I think it’s a toss up.
