    Not sure if Twitter, any Social Media can add that much to a more accurate picture of what people watch (quantity of audience). It might put into perspective though eventually the value of high viewer numbers, how much people notice a show (quality of audience). The rating system is mostly important for advertising business and for them reach (quantity) and impact (quality) is interesting. Impact is rather difficult to measure, that is why social media are interesting.

    Sorry, the social scientist speaking again 😉

    And wanted to post links to two articles, one about first week of Twitter Ranking, the other about Facebook working on their own system
