Henry and Jacinda finally shared a kiss but the curse did not break. The necklace in the EF confirmed that they are true love so what gives? What is it going to take to break this curse?

Yeah that was surprising, I was totally expecting the curse to break, but I guess we have a couple of episodes left so maybe it is too soon.  Maybe it was because Jacinda made it very clear that she was kissing Henry and not Cinderella.  Maybe the story is saying that Henry and Cinderella may be true love, but not Jacinda and Henry.  This would be like Mary Margaret and David in season 1 not being true loves, but Snow and Charming were. Maybe Henry and Cinderella need to have all their memories to share true love and therefore it did not work.

I briefly mentioned this in my favorite/least favorite post but I never believed Henry and Jacinda would beak the curse. Those two have taken on Snowing’s cursed roll and Mary Margret and David didn’t break the curse Emma and Henry did. My top picks for breaking the curse would be Regina/Henry, Henry/Lucy or Nook/Tilly.

Facilier said to Lucy, “Find something that came over in the curse, a symbol of Henry and Jacinda’s love.” Sure, the slipper is a symbol, but Lucy herself is a much more powerful symbol. Either the restoration spell didn’t have the right ingredient and so didn’t fully cleanse Henry — leaving him too attached to his cursed identity for the kiss to work — or the three of them need to do True Love’s Family Hug.

I’m hoping for Curious Archer as well, but a family connection seems more logical since it’s what cured the first curse (Emma kissed Henry), the second curse (Regina kissed Henry), and saved Emma (Henry kissed Emma).

ETA: I think it could be Rogers and Tilly. If something happens to Tilly and Roger tells her he loves her and kisses her that could break the curse.

It might be because they didn’t both believe. They could be why the curse didn’t break. Though, they have been very inconsistent about that.

If only they’d kept Ivy on the show, that could’ve at least been a strong bit of misdirection as to why.
