NON-spoiler preview hype

I didn’t know where to put this, and I am PLEADING for no spoilers in this thread, but I just had to SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! 😛 The preview looks so unbelievably awesome that I CAN’T WAIT! The dagger shows up in Storybrooke. THE DAGGER!!!!! And Gold is going to be confronted with the one thing that can make him weak (well, aside from Belle, but that is another story). I am betting (and hoping) that August is Baelfire, which will be amazing if it is true. And what does he want? Why is he pointing the dagger at Gold? Does he really want to kill Gold or is he just using the dagger to get Gold to use his power to do something? And if so, WHAT?!!!

I’ve thought that the dagger is what Mr Gold was burying back when Graham ran into him in the woods. Now it seems that August has found it. We don’t know exactly how magic works in Storybrooke, (I’m talking about stuff other than the big curse). Obviously there’s some residual magic, like Regina’s hearts, so it’s probably safe to assume that the power dictating that whoever holds the dagger controls the Dark One would also still be in effect, (which would explain why Mr Gold buried it, so no one could get their grubby lil hands on it), which would be VERY interesting if August now holds the dagger.

I’m still TeamPinocchio. Even people who have seen all the spoilers can’t agree on who he is yet, so I’m REALLY looking forward to having that issue resolved one way or the other. LOL

I know some people are dedicated to the idea that August is the real boy, but it would be a let down if so. Just because you don’t see much of a development from Pinocchio. Pinocchio was only seen in the pilot twice. I was hoping that August would be that boy that found Emma when she was a baby on the streets, but IDK. If August is Rumpel’s son then that would widen the plot/conflict a bit to many more possibilities. It would be awesome too and you’ll see a deeper side of Mr. Gold.

However, the writers may just be teasing us as always.

I have a feeling that the answer to August’s identity will surprise all of us, so I am just keeping an open mind. Eight pm can’t come fast enough, though! 😀
