So I finally got to see Pirates 5, “Dead Men Tell No Tales”. Very mild spoiler ahead:

The movie introduces some new characters, including Henry, the son of Elizabeth and Will.

Then I realized … He’s the son of Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner.

    …

Elizabeth Swan‘s son is named Henry!!! *facepalm*

I haven’t seen the film yet, but well spotted. I think Swann/Swan has become quite a popular last name among fictional female characters. I certainly have come to prefer Elizabeth Swann over the rest (i.e. Bella and Emma).

Also, I noticed that in Ever After the prince is called Henry although the female character in the Cinderella role is called Danielle. It’s probably a coincidence since Henry was a very popular name in medieval Europe with many kings having that name.
