Nyx gave me a serious case of the heebie-jeebies! She looked like an undead “it” which lives in the well. That just reminds me of every parody of every horror film. I just couldn’t look at her without shuddering.

Heros don't get their Happy Ending!

She chooses to free her sons by sacrificing herself. That would be a good ending for her.
Cyrus still knows magic even though he’s no longer a genie. I wonder if/when the three brothers are reunited, they might be powerful enough together (even not being genies) to take down Jafar after Amara sacrifices herself.
Ahhh awesome this would be the best thing ever! And then Cyrus will be a powerful sorcerer and join the Charmings to fight the WW!
Or is it too much to hope for?
Nyx is the Guardian of the Well of Wonders. If you don’t know, Nyx is Greek for “night” and in mythology is the goddess associated with night. Read more here
And look at who Day is. Yeah, I thought Amara seemed a little too familiar with the power of the well.
Whaaaaaat? This is going to be so cool!
You know what I can't continue with the dead people brought back to life list I'm out of space in the signature and now we have an underworld arc this is to much I quit why do you bring so many people back to life OUAT WHHHYYYY
March 14, 2014 at 11:57 am #252877SlurpeezParticipantI came across a theory on Tumblr about the Well of Wonders, which, if true, could have huge implications for the parent show, OUAT.
So I’ve been watching OUAT in Wonderland and I noticed that
the Well of Wonders in Agrabah (top) and the Well of Wonders in Wonderland (bottom left) look a lot like the one behind phillip and aurora in the bottom right pic.
I could be wrong but I think that’s the Well of Wonders in the Enchanted Forest 🙂
What if the Well of Wonders has something to do with the return of Philip’s soul to his body? What if Rumple’s soul will be restored that way, too?

That’s really interesting! To go into some Greek myth, in Hesiod’s “Theogony” Nyx’s home (along with “Day”–Hemera) is in Tartarus, which (while not wholly accurate) is often conflated in modern culture with the afterlife and the realm of the dead.

This is a crack theory that just came to mind. Maybe the Sultan will drown Jafar in the Well of Wonders & then Nyx will allow the brothers to be released. Not sure how this equates with the water given to Amara being returned, but maybe their fates are tied together when he made her the snake staff.
That’s interesting, a trade for trade.

The pavilion does look similar, and perhaps there is something there, because it would make sense that Aurora and Phillip have a “special” meal at that place if it is where she was able to get him back. This episode also confirmed something someone (sorry forget who!) has been saying for awhile, that all the waters of all the realms connect in some magical place that goes between worlds. Ever since August took Emma to the well, that’ s been floating around.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

The only thing different is the pattern of the floor boards. Just went to check, and the one in WL has the same pattern as the one in Agrabah, but the one in FTL is just straight floorboards. Which I guess would make sense if they decided to board that thing up, though if it were me, I’d still be leery of having a picnic on top of it, expecting Nyx to bust up through the floor at any moment. The similarities in the designs can’t be denied though, so I’ll be more surprised if Philora’s gazebo ISN’T a boarded up Well Of Wonders.March 15, 2014 at 8:57 am #253051RumplesGirlKeymasterso I’ll be more surprised if Philora’s gazebo ISN’T a boarded up Well Of Wonders.
To add to this: Nyx is the goddess of night; The WW’s name Zelena is like Selena who was the goddess of the moon.

Lol, I see what you did there! Floating, water, stuff floats in water.
