ParticipantI wonder if Amara, weeping near the well, her teardrops falling into the water would be a way to return the water to Nyx. I could picture Cyrus being mortally wounded near the well, Amara weeps, a teardrop falls into the well. Nyx rises from the well, the brothers are released from their bottles. Cyrus is healed.
I really hope Amara taught Jafar that he needed to steal waters from the well in order to enact his spell. I’d love to see Nyx curse Jafar.
I got the impression that Ms. Jabber wonky (I love that auto correct) was beginning to dislike Jafar using her but not giving her any credit.
Also, I wonder if, in the case of Philora, if the water is still accessible from the well. The opening of the well seems to be covered. But can they remove the cover to reveal the water? Why have they covered the well? To trap the wraith? To hide the healing waters? Possibly the only way for Phillip to keep his soul is to drink the waters often.

Hmmmmm. Interesting idea and certainly happier than Amara dying.

I think so too! What exactly is Jabber getting out of this??? I’d keep my eye on her (OR ELSE SHE WILL CUT THEM OUT)

THAT WAS SO GROSS!!!
Dunno that Jabberwocky necessarily needs an agenda, I think she just gets off on being cruel and that’s reward enough. Though if Jafar tries to steal all the glory, when SHE is the one who got the genie bottle, I can see that putting her in the mood to put him in his place. Maybe he’ll get run through with the Vorpal Blade if he tries to use it on her.

ParticipantSince I’ve grown accustomed to watching characters ripping people’s hearts out, I’m not sure why I was so shocked to see Jabberwocky carve someone’s eyeballs out. I agree, that was GROSS!
I’m hoping that by the end of the next episode, both Jabber and Nyx will have a bone to pick with Jafar.

ParticipantTheory: Nyx is the black fairy. The Blue Fairy banished her and now she is doomed to to dwell within the waters that connects all lands as opposed to actually being apart of one…. Sounds plausible right >>

ParticipantSo while skimming through the Brothers Grimm Complete fairytales book, I came across a story called The Water Nix. Its about a nix, or nixie, that lives in a well and kidnaps two children. Here it is, I thought it was rather intersting given that we have seen a woman named nyx appear from a well in the show.
A little brother and little sister were playing by a well, and while they were playing there they both fell in. A water nixie was down there. She said, “Now I have you. Now you will have to work diligently for me,” and she led them away with her.
She gave the girl tangled dirty flax to spin, and she had to fill a bottomless barrel with water. The boy had to chop down a tree with a dull ax, and all they got to eat were dumplings as hard as rocks.
Finally the children became so impatient, that they waited until one Sunday when the nixie was at church, and then ran away. When church was over, the nixie saw that the birds had flown away, and she followed them with long strides.
The children saw her from afar, and the girl threw a brush behind her, which turned into a large brush-mountain with thousands and thousands of spikes, which the nixie had to climb over with great difficulty, but she finally got to the other side.
When the children saw this the boy threw a comb behind him, which turned into a large comb-mountain with a thousand times a thousand teeth, but the nixie was able to keep hold of them, and finally got to the other side.
Then the girl threw a mirror behind her, which turned into a glass mountain, which was so slippery, so slippery that it was impossible for the nixie to climb over it.
Then she thought, “I will quickly go home and get my ax and chop the glass mountain in two.”
However, by the time she returned and had chopped up the glass mountain, the children were far away and had escaped, so the water nixie had to trudge back to her well.

KeymasterA mirror, eh?
I bet we see Nix again, before she welcome Amara back to her home.
