Rumpel can be such a loving father. Him agreeing shows that the powers have not tainted his soul completely.April 3, 2012 at 5:49 am #140347miaParticipantNot only that, Rumple actually agrees to let Bae find a way to help him!!
April 3, 2012 at 5:55 am #140753PheeParticipantI’ve got a funny feeling that this search for a way to save his father won’t end well for poor Bae. 🙁
Prediction: The ep will show Rumple and Bae’s story in Fairytale, and Mr Gold and August’s storyline in Storybrooke, as misdirection to make everyone think he’s Bae. But then near the end of the ep, Bae will die.

By the way, did anyone take a look at the guest stars in the press release for this episode?
Guest starring are David Anders as Dr. Whale, Anastasia Griffith as Kathryn/Abigail, Keegan Connor Tracy as Mother Superior/Blue Fairy, Meghan Ory as Ruby/Red, Giancarlo Esposito as Sidney/Magic Mirror, Beverley Elliott as Granny, Dylan Schmid as Baelfire, Conner Dwelly as Morraine, Greyston Holt as Jim/Frederick, Gabe Khouth as Mr. Clark/Sneezy, Michael Coleman as Happy, Mig Macario as Bashful, Jarod Joseph as Billy, Christina Gooding as mute maid and Michael Roberds as donkey driver.
Interesting list.
One name in particular jumped out at me upon second glance:
Morraine. The girl who was taken by the soldiers at the beginning of Desperate Souls. 😯

Not only that, Kathryn/Abigail is listed in the episode, so maybe when we see FT it’s a bit closer to the “present” day.

Hmm, maybe. It would be really tragic if Rumple somehow ends up killing his son after going through all the trouble to find the dagger so he can protect him.

Was necessarily thinking it’d be Rumple who kills him. Was just reading something on another forum where someone speculated that as the Blue Fairy is in this ep, that should mean we’ll see her involved with Rumple and Bae. Which got me thinking that if she told Bae to do something specific that was supposed to help the situation, but something went wrong and he died, that’d be a handy explanation as to why Mr Gold hates the nuns.
Also, I posted the idea of them faking out the audience that August would be Bae, and someone took it a step further and suggested that maybe not just the audience would be fooled, perhaps Mr Gold himself would be fooled into believing it too, only to find out August isn’t his son after all. What Mr Carlyle could do with that angsty material, it’d be a treat to see that play out.
