Having listened to the podcast twice now, I really do think Bae is going to be our Peter Pan figure and that the shadow was part of Bae, something that got separated from Bae when he went through the portal.

If this is true, then those of us who kept the Nealfire Pan faith alive deserve a cookie.

I thought it was interesting that they said that the shadow first appeared when Bae did- that magic followed him somehow.

Cosign. I think he ends up being apart of Hooks crew. When he and the other kids were securing the room from the shadow, I noticed that they made sure to get the picture of the pirate ship above the window in the frame when Bae was locking it. Maybe that was a sign for what his future had in store. We’ll see.

I don’t know that the two are mutually exclusive. Why can’t he be both Pan and a member of Hook’s crew. Over in this thread we’ve been theorizing that the Shadow (the Pan) has been searching for Bae to posses him and that the Shadow was possibly originally part of Bae that was separated from him when Bae went through the bean portal.

True and thats a sweet theory, but it’s also just as possible that he was simply just a member of Hooks crew. I’m hoping we find out he was a member of Hooks crew and somebody else is Peter Pan. The thought of Peter Pan being in Storybrooke with an oncoming beer gut just makes me cringe, and this is coming from a dude with a oncoming beer gut. My theory is with Bae being so adamant about not liking magic and not wanting to set foot in Neverland to the point he was willing to fall in the ocean and possibly drown with absolutely no plan, leads me to lean more towards him being in Hooks crew. He hates magic and doesn’t like Neverland up to that point and it would be easier under those circumstances for Hook to lure him into the crew after saving his life. With only one episode left, they’d be pressed in telling how Bae turned on Hook, became Peter Pan as well as handle all the drama of whats happening in Storybrooke. However, I can buy Bae maybe being Pater Pan if they drag Neverland out into next season if Storybrooke is destroyed.
