I am calling that Baelfire ends up being Emma’s true love. I just think she should end up being related to Rumple somehow.
I second that. Imagine the family dinners! ๐
[adrotate group="5"]May 17, 2012 at 10:11 pm #147210elysabeth1ParticipantAll I have been able to think about lately is what on earth happened between Regina and Rumpelstiltskin. Just a theory…
I am wondering if Regina came to Rumpel to strike up a deal (how to get her mother out of the picture and to take her powers in the process?). With Rumpel being able to see into the future, he accepted her “deal” knowing that she would later ask him to create the curse (in which he made his own loopholes) which would lead him to the other world to find Bae. I’m sure somewhere in there she ‘voided’ her deal (thinking she was more powerful than Rumpel), which she seems to be good at, and that made Rumpel angry. I think it was all a plot from the beginning to somehow find Bae, keep his stature, and gain his powers back. Obviously he hid the ‘True Love’ with the full intention of bringing his power back when Emma was ready to believe; true love reinforced by true love. Now with magic in our world, finding Bae is much more possible. Rumpel has had the upper hand it seems to me the entire time. In the end he’ll have to choose between his powers and Bae again. I <3 it!
I believe the curse was only partially lifted. I think that they will all still be in SB, but remembering both worlds. It will be about Emma and how she rekindles a different kind of relationship with her parents, her struggling with being a new child and a new parent, and whatever Regina is planning now with all her regained powers. Rumpel will be striking up new deals to find Bae, who I believe will be introduced, and they will spend their time trying to continue to fight off Regina while trying to figure out how to fully lift the curse so they can return to FTL. Somehow using Emma will come into play; whether she uses her powers in combination with his to find Bae…not sure on that yet. But you KNOW that favor is coming…and it’ll be goooood.
Curious about August though. I liked the guy. Will he be in SB as Pinocchio? Or with magic will he turn back into a ‘real boy’? (Or man) Lol!
I do like the theory about the faeries not regaining power. Considering Rumpel is responsible, I doubt he would make it easy for the Blue Fairy to regain her powers since he feels she is responsible for Bae’s disappearance. Possibly we will see a lot of struggle with the characters trying to accept both realities.
I also think that the Queen of Hearts is Reginas older sibling. There is more to that story; Cora was the Millers daughter…deal for power…the similarities….I’d love to see that play out. ๐
May 18, 2012 at 12:45 pm #147256SlurpeezParticipantI’m calling that Rumpel used the true love potion to bring magic to SB so that he’ll have the power to do anything, including bringing people back to life. It is his “contingency plan” just in case his son died. It would also be a way to bring characters like Graham, Daniel, and Peter back to life. It would provide a way for Emma to be resurrected in case the “savior” of FTL dies.

Ooo! That’s an interesting theory! A lot of people keep pointing out that Baelfire may already be dead, and there’s no way that possibility escaped Rumpel’s thought process. So, the true love potion may be able to bring people back to life. It’s already proven itself to be an effective antidote against curses that imitate death (sleeping curse). So, anything’s possibile.

That the curse is not completely broken? That in the end Rumpel will have to choose between Bae and his power? That the faeries will not regain their magic when magic comes to SB? Let me know. ๐

Nice one slurpeez108. Don’t know if I agree, but like the thought. I’m interested to find out what his intent was and whether not it plays out the way he hoped. Since magic is unpredictable in this world, it may not play out the way he intends. Going to be fun to see ๐
May 18, 2012 at 10:50 pm #147283the_saviorParticipantHmm.. here are just a list of my theories…
1. Bae will be introduced as an adult in the next season as either the father of Henry, one of Emma’s love interests, or both.
2.Either in this season or the following seasons will have the season finale with a cliff hanger as either Emma having to “seal” the deal with Rumpelstilskin and becoming the new Dark One, or Regina getting her hands on Rumpelstilskins dagger.
3. Rumpelstilskin will sacrifice himself for either Bae or Belle before the series finale, and Regina will redeem herself before the end of the series by helping fight for “good.”
4.There is an even bigger evil besides Regina or Rumpel that controls “all the worlds” that the cast will have to go up against in future seasons.
5. Emma will die as “the savior” in order to “truly” break the curse.
6. The Queen of Hearts is Cora
7.Instead of flash-backs in fairytale world, there will now be flash-forwards
8. There will be a love triangle involving Emma. (let the ship wars begin! lol)
May 21, 2012 at 1:46 am #147424antbeeParticipantWow! A lot of great theories here.
1. I agree that the flashbacks of Snow White and Prince Charming overthrowing King George and Regina will mirror the storyline in Storybrooke of three sides forming with Regina vs. Rumpel being the main battle, at least at the beginning because of Regina holding Belle hostage.
2. As a reward for freeing Belle, Jefferson will now work for Rumpel, but I’m not sure he’ll fare any better working with Rumpel instead of Regina. I do think that Wonderland will be brought back somehow. First, I agree with the popular theory that Regina’s mother, Cora, is the Queen of Hearts, but something will happen where Jefferson has to rescue Grace or vice versa in Wonderland, or Jefferson has to rescue Grace’s mom, Alice, who was lost in Wonderland.
3. I also like the Wizard of Oz theory from charming since Emma, Henry, August, and Jiminy fit Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman, and Cowardly Lion pretty closely. Plus, it will be another world that we’ll get to see since we saw Wonderland this past season.
4. Dr. Whale will turn out be Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid.
5. We’ll find out where Baelfire is, but he won’t be reunited with his dad this early.
6. Baelfire was behind the book getting to Henry and told August all the information about the dagger to fool Rumpel, but the Blue Fairy, the curse, or some other Big Bad was behind bringing Henry to Storybrooke.
7, Finally, I agree with The_Savior, there will be a love triangle involving Emma. I’m guessing Baelfire vs. August. (Although, she doesn’t know who Baelfire is for some reason, like he’s disguised, since I also believe that Baelfire is Henry’s dad. I’m not sure how that’s going to work unless the writers just go ahead and decide to reveal the twist now since a lot of people have guessed that Bae is Henry’s dad.) There will be shipping wars though.

Lol. Sorry about that. First time user really; first time “calling it”. Yes I was pretty much thinking out loud, but you hit my predictions for the most part.
1. The QoH will somehow be related to Regina; I vote she will be her older sister and that Cora made an exchange with Rumpel
2. The curse is not completely broken; they will still have to fight the Epic Battle to return completely to FTL
3. Rumpel will find Bae and have to chose once again between his son and his power (not quite sure that will happen in season 2, but it will eventually)
4. We will learn what deal that Rumpel and Regina made that started this whole mess
5. Regina killed her mother and stole her power
Thats it for now. Lol. Too much floating through my head. ๐

I HAVE TRANSFERRED FROM SEASON 1 TO SEASON 2 ALL PRIOR UNANSWERED CALLS. PLEASE READ YOUR CALLS AND AMEND, REFUTE, OR MAKE NEW CALLS ACCORDINGLY. IF YOUR NAME HAS DISAPPEARED FROM THE CALL LIST IT IS PROBABLY BECAUSE ALL YOUR CALLS WERE COMFIRMED OR REFUTED.
Read through the list of calls again. Such great ideas from everyone. Ones I find myself agreeing with easily, others I continue to think on, and some I don’t know if we will ever get a viable answer to, but love seeing what everyone thinks. ๐
Elysabeth1 Regina killing her mother is under hjbau — a popular theory, already called many times. Queen of Hearts is Regina’s sister is under Kalliopekisees. I put you as second.
The_Savior and AntBee Queen of Hearts is Cora is already called as well, by Lissy. I let you carry the motion. It is a popular theory.
May 22, 2012 at 2:54 pm #147531obisgirlParticipantThe bigger evil next season will not be Rumpel or Regina, it’ll be Cora, coming back to take revenge on her daughter for locking her up and stealing her magic.
