I remembered reading somewhere that E & A clarified when Wonderland would take place in relation to OUAT and a quick search found me this article:
“Wonderland takes place post-curse so that the pilot of Wonderland actually starts when magic comes… then it runs concurrent so that we are in present day Wonderland/post-Queen Of Hearts and just like we saw in the Enchanted Forest, there were pockets that were saved.”
I think this implies that the events we’ll see in Storybrooke in the beginning of the Wonderland pilot take place around the Season 1 finale/Season 2 premiere when Rumple brought magic. So Regina could have definitely been involved with that somehow!

Perhaps it was the coming of magic to SB that made it happen. Wouldn’t expect Regina to be involved with a scene where a hole gets blown in Granny’s floor though, so there must be more going on.
If it is Granny’s (I’m 95% sure it is), I’d love for Granny to have a quick appearance! Maybe she could hear the noise from out the back, grabs her crossbow and comes out. When she see’s the portal she could be like “Mother of God” and run back out the back or something.

Agreed. While it’s good spin-off policy to not have main characters from the parent show appear often, I don’t see why we couldn’t use secondary relevant ones with a bit of regularity to give that sense of both series coexisting in a single universe. Granny, Leroy, August if they hadn’t so stupidly reverted him back to a boy, Robin Hood, Philip, Aurora, Mulan, …, they all could be featured as guests in the Wonderland show that they wouldn’t obfuscate Alice and her cast.
That’s Granny’s for sure! I read that it’s supposed to take place in S2 of OUAT, but it doesn’t say *when* in S2. So it could be the very last episode of S2, when it’s just Belle and the background inhabitants.

It would be really awesome to see those who were left behind in fairytale land after the curse, like Mulan, Aurora, and Phillip, perhaps more with Lancelot/King Arthur? (We didn’t see a body so I’m not entirely convinced he’s dead! :lol:) It would be really cool to see this spinoff tell stories of those characters that weren’t brought to Storybrooke and how everyone is coping/rebuilding, if they didn’t bring in too many new characters and overcomplicate things.
In the preview they mentioned Pirates? Could Hook be making an appearance maybe Alice spent time in Neverland

Mermaids as well. The reference to Neverland is obvious, I’d like to see what that means.
The Doctors in the trailer, while questioning Alice, say that she and Cyrus traveled to many worlds together so I suspect that we’ll be seeing a few different lands with those two.
