As weird as this may be for a 16 year old I love knitting even though I’m not particularly great at it. I want to do something ouat related but I just dunno what to do. Has anyone given something like this a shot? Any ideas for me?

I think that’s awesome! So many crafts have lost followings along the way and it’s nice to see some of them are still done! I am a horrible knitter (much better with crochet!) but it’s tough sometimes to find younger people who still do these things. How very refreshing! (I myself am 27 and rarely find someone who does any of this sort of thing – it’s usually grandmothers and aunts and such).

You may want to check out ravelry.com – great crafting community and you can specify knitting and search for things relating to OUAT. Emma’s baby blanket pattern is on there, as well as various hats similar to the ones worn by Ruby and Mary Margaret. I’m sure there are many others, though I haven’t been there lately to check but might be a good place to start!

There’s a crafting thread around here somewhere and I’d love to see more OUAT-themed items show up in it!

Best of luck and please share pics of whatever you end up making!
