Okay so I am a huge Timeline guy I love continuity and chronology so I have a question. How long was Ana and Will in WL. First off. If Ana is the step sister to Cinderella and that story has occurred that means they weren’t in WL that long before the curse. For as we know, The Cinderella story was the reason Rumple had to be taken to prison and that happened well lets say a few months before the curse was enacted. Also it all depends on how long Cinderella married the Prince and all that and how long after that did Ana meet will. So I guess the real question is how long were Ana in Will in Wonderland. It would seem like months instead of years. Not sure…help me out. Am I making any sense.

That’s hard to tell.
We still don’t know how much time has passed between the ball Cinderella went and her wedding. But we know that Ana and Wil went to Wonderland before Robin Hood broke into Rumple’s Castle and stole the wand.
So even Belle wasn’t imprisioned by Regina at that time.
So it must have been a longer time periode than we first thought.“There were thousands and thousands of forms of joy in the world, but that all were essentially one and the same, namely, the joy of being able to love.”

March 14, 2014 at 4:20 pm #252945CrownedWithLaurelsParticipantMarty, when the Jabberwocky was getting into her head in last night’s ep, she (it?) said something along the lines of, “If you had married the prince instead of your step-sister…”
Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixMarch 14, 2014 at 7:57 pm #252988once_dudeParticipantlets see: I don’t see too much of a problem. Here are the events that must happen:
1. Cinderella meets the Prince.
@. Anastasia gets ejalous and meets will scarlet, lets say it was the same day.
3. Will finds the mirror and they travel to wonderland only to be stopped by Anastasia’s mother and Ella Ashely’s if you will’s step mother.
4. Anastasia becomes red queen we dont know how long this takes but we are being generous and say one month.
5. during this same month Will becomes the knave of Hearts and works for Cora.
6. We don’t know exactly when Alice met Anastasia and will but it could still be in this period.
7. Hook comes to wonderland and Hook and Cora create barrier before curse is inacted.
I see no timeline problems. We forget that nine months go by in the Cinderella episode or at least 6 or 7 months. Who knows maybe Thomas and Ella had a real courtship like snow and David did and we just did not see it. We skipped after the ball and the Prince finding through glass slipper after all.
We also do not know exactly how long Rumple was magically imprisonned but we know that that might be anywhere between one and nine months because we don’t know where in Rumple’s timeline and the curse’s timeline Snow gets pregnant. was she even pregnant during Price of Gold?
Magic always comes with a price, so I pay with visa.

March 14, 2014 at 10:05 pm #253017darkones1fanParticipantWell thanks for all the help. But I guess in the end there is one person we should all look to when it comes to Timelines…Let us now heed his words of wisdom.
March 15, 2014 at 12:08 am #2530353princessesParticipantI think I need to rewatch the episode where we first see Ana & her mother in the EF. After I first watched it, I thought the mother implied she had two other daughters to marry the prince, so she wasn’t that concerned if Ana ran off. Will & Ana were already in love. The ball hadn’t happened yet. They jumped in the mirror before the ball.
Rumplestiltzkin is imprisoned when Ella is showing & she is still pregnant in Storybrooke, so he’s in prison 4 months at most. I think more like 2 or 3.
Robin Hood…not sure yet.
March 15, 2014 at 1:23 am #253038PheeParticipantHard to say for sure if Will and Ana left FTL before or after Ella and Thomas’ wedding. Just went back to re-watch the scene with Ana’s mother and she says: “I wanted a Queen for a daughter, and what did I get instead – a failure.” Maybe she was saying that partly out of jealously, because her step-daughter who she hates had just gone and become a Princess. But I’m inclined to think that even though she hated Ella, she’d have made like, “Oh yes, my daughter married into royalty, it’s it lovely and wonderful,” in the hopes of getting some positive throwbacks by association, because technically now she herself was related to royalty as well. She wasn’t acting like someone who had an in with a royal family already when she spoke to Ana. So I think this scene was probably before Ella even met Thomas, though that’s just a guess, not something that’s proven in the show.
There’s gotta be enough time in WL for Will to have made enemies all over WL, to learn about and be familiar with the Underworld, to slum around with Liz, and to work for Cora, and all of that happened after Ana became Queen.
I’m guessing he got out of WL and back to FTL before the Curse hit, which is why he was in SB, but there’s no way to say for sure, or how long he’d been back in FTL before the Curse. Re-watching the scene with the mother, I noticed that she after she said, “You cannot live on love, Anastasia,” she very definitely turns her head towards Will and says this next part of her line directly to him, “And when you learn that lesson the hard way, you will be right back here where you started.” Then they have a closeup shot of Will. Unless and until we see differently, I’m gonna say that her looking at Will while saying that is an indication that he ended up right back there in their little shack before the Curse hit. Though how long before the Curse he got there is anyone’s guess.
Now that I’m thinking of it, I’d love a scene in FTL between a recently returned Will and a pregnant Ella, where she asks about her step-sister, assuming she’s come back with him.
