Once Upon a Time' Enlists Agnes Bruckner

Hopefully, there’s good pics available so we can finally put to rest who she is playing.

Given that they’ve been shooting 4×18 for a little over a week, I think, it’s likely that Agnes is in 4×19 and not 4×18, which is Cruella centric. Maybe if we don’t get pics, we’ll get a title and that will help.

I know this is crazy… but what if Maleficent is a grown up Lily. It’s unlikely but possible.

Titles are always good too, though sometimes they can be incredibly vague too.

Well, the title for 4×19 is “Lily” when Agnes Bruckner is set to make her debut. I’m thinking that all but confirms that Agnes is playing Adult Lily.

My problem with this is still the same.

Lily was brought, cast originally as a Latina girl. (There are screencaps to remind everyone that she is Latina). She was supposed to directly parallel Emma’s relationship with Regina, who is also Latina. To not make the character of Lily, not Latina all of the sudden is really bad. And coming from a show that thus far, has been pretty good in the casting department, this has fail written all over it.

Agnes’ audition may have been really excellent but if Once plans to have Lily back, I think it would make more sense to actually cast a Latina actress to play the adult her.

My new theory is that Lily refers to Tiger Lily from Neverland.

Maleficent was a grown adult before Emma was conceived. She can’t be a grown up Lily when Lily was a teenager at the same time Emma was a teenager.

My new theory is that Lily refers to Tiger Lily from Neverland.

This would be very interesting if true especially as there are a lot of unanswered questions from the Neverland arc, however, I think it’s very unlikely as Neverland has been and gone.

Something a little odd someone else noticed. Agnes is following both the OUAT In Wonderland twitter account and Michael Socha’s, but nobody else from the cast. These appear to be recent follows, too. Could her character (Lily or someone else) have ties to Will Scarlet?
