    Daniel made this a global thread since it’s super helpful for all new members. Thanks Daniel! If Myril wants to go through and edit her first post with everything we’ve said so far, I’ll leave that up to her.

    Myril, if you read this: if you want to edit your first post with what we’ve gathered so far, I put them into categories. If you can make it cleaner, feel free to do so, but these are the major ones from the four pages thus far. And then as we get more, one of us can update your first post as needed.

    Places
    The EF = The Enchanted Forest
    FTL = Fairy Tale Land
    NL = Neverland
    SB = Storybrooke
    WL = Wonderland

    Internet Lingo
    OTP = One True Pairing
    Ship (as a noun): the pairing of two individuals in a relationship (Snowing, Rumbelle, CaptainSwan, SwanFire)

    Ship(as a verb): For example “I ship Rumbelle.” In other words, the ship (as a noun) you support.

    These aren’t acronyms, but we use them quite a lot around here

    Onciverse/Onceivere: The OUAT universe, the entire conceptual world of the show and the mythology in it.

    Canon: a highly contentious term. In general you can interchange it with “established as law or as truth.” It means that OUAT has said “this is true to our show, it will not be changed on the show.” Snowing is canon: Snow and Charming are True Love and that’s not going to suddenly change. Often times it is thrown around before it is shown on the show (shipping wars, for example). Until A and E and show actually show it to us, it’s not canon.

    Characters
    GOAT = Greg/Owen And Tamara
    MAP = Mulan, Philip and Aurora
    Nealfire = Neal Cassidy (Baelfire)
    MM = Mary Margaret
    PC = Prince Charming
    The EQ = The Evil Queen (Regina)
    The BF (Blue) = The Blue Fairy
    PP = Peter Pan
    RH = Robin Hood
    FGM = Fairy Godmother
    Nealfire Pan = the belief that Neal Cassidy (Baelfire) was also Peter Pan

    MISC
    TLK = True Love’s Kiss
    TL = True Love
    JR = The Jolly Roger
    OUAT = Once Upon a Time
    OUATinWL = Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
    The “t-word” = timeline, a term that some of us refuse to use because it causes stress and a deep need for chocolate.

    Done.

    Was planning of doing that one day, but have been a tad busy with other things lately (there is something like a life beyond OUaT, hard to imagine). Many, many thanks RumplesGirl for sorting and making the list. 😎

    In that case, let’s put the other t-word on the list, too.

    For H&K, please add A&E. I know I have referred to them on a first name basis, presumptuous though it is!

    “If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
