I figured since we have threads for this in ONCE, we could have them for OUATinWL too.
So what were your favorite and least favorite moments from the opening episode of Once Upon A Time in Wonderland??

I ADORE the rabbit and his hat. (This should not be surprising to you all)
Alice is really great. Totally like Snow and Emma
The RQ’a outfits are great.
The Knave is hysterical
Chess references, just like Jo and I predicted
The RQ made the bunny cry. (I cry)
Jafar is really cool/scary/evil
CHESHIRE CAT IS FULL OF YES (the voice is a bit off, but I’m not overly bothered)
Totally shipping Cylice
The music is awesome
Magic carpet. Well at least we have that answer
Didn’t like
I will admit the CGI needs some work. Though the rabbit makes up for it.
The very small SB scene didn’t do much. Rather unnecessary

It was sure nice to see the Cinderella cameo, I hope she comes out in OUAT this season. I didn’t like the wardrobe change on the Red Queen though disappointing, the other one was so much more…chesty

THE sound was off … I had trouble hearing Alice and Knave when they talked…. tried 3 different TV sets … their voices trailed off when they talked or the mic did not pick up what they are saying.
I came into the show half way thru the hour … Maybe I would have liked it more if I saw the entire show … but I thought it dragged … I am just not into the story, I guess. I will check out a couple of more episodes but I do not think this show will be for me.

Thank god they changed RQ’s clothes in her debut scene. That other one was so trashy and slutty, she now felt as regal as she’s meant to be!
Jafar, your scenes amounted only to like two or three minutes, but you absolutely ROCKED! You really put the FEAR in FEARSOME! You’re already feel more threatening than Rumple, Regina and Cora, and that’s big, man, BIG!
Cheshire, your design is amazing. Not sure about the voice, though, and I’m especially not fond of the kind of threat you provided Alice – a mental one suits your character, but physical? Not really.
Loved that Alice’s story in the pilot came to a close with her uttering Cyrus’s words about love and need of proof. Coming full circle suited it really well.
All in all, can’t wait for next week!

I think it was the accent the knave used. It was difficult at times to understand what he was saying. Although there were times that background noise or music cut into what he was saying. Alice was fine.
October 10, 2013 at 10:39 pm #215076RumplesGirlKeymasterOne thing that did bother, and we were saying this in the chat too, but if they don’t want to confuse people they really need to stop with the “London, England” thing. This is FICTIONAL London, not real London. People will think time travel is possible is they keep that up. And then we’re in a world of trouble for ONCE.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 10, 2013 at 11:27 pm #215084CorbinParticipantI was…underwhelmed. I loved the 20 minute preview they showed at Comic-Con (it leaked online) and I really liked the line, “All right Rabbit, dig your hole.” It had that cinematic feel which unfortunately, the pilot didn’t have. The Knave was hysterical and looks to be the comic relief in the show. The Cheshire Cat looked really cool, which has me excited. Sure, the CGI looked terrible at some points, but it was a good pilot. The only part that annoys me is the Red Queen. The accent doesn’t suit the character at all and makes me think they should’ve cast another actress. But all in all, it saddens me that it I didn’t catch on to it like I did with OUAT, but there’s room to improve! Rate :7/10
Keeper of Thor’s Hammer, Will Scarlet’s Genie Bottle, Emma’s Gun, Emma and Henry’s Moment at the Castle, Cora, and the infamous Family Tree!

She does not have the voice I thought she would. But I think that has a lot to do with watching Lana be the EQ for two seasons now. She’s got the evil voice down. The RQ’s voice was much higher than expected.
