    For the CaptainFairy new shipsmates.

    The ship has sailed now

The fairy has her wings back

    Pirate life for her

    For my dear Hookriel

    No longer will she

be under the sea, for now

    she has found her Hook.

    For my CS friends

    Share a drink with me

    Now together we shall be

    Take the helm with me.

RG, a little taste for everyone! Aren’t you generous tonight. 😉

Haikus are addicting, guys. Once you start you can’t stop.

    Sweet surrender I’m yours

Without you my home is gone

Around my neck is the pendant you stole

Near to my heart you shall stay.

For me there is no other

Irreplaceable is the dream catcher in the window

Rest now your head upon my shoulder, you’re home

Ever mine, ever thine, ever ours.

    Light in the darkness

Was 28, lost, wandering through the emptiness
    A life plagued by loss
Full of yearning for ever after and my prince charming
Left bitter by all my past rejection
Was ready to give it all up
    Too many nights left alone
    Talking to myself
Wishing there wasn’t just an echo for company
when I’d hear the words I’d kept inside
Those I was too afraid to voice aloud

    Two hands saved me
    With a smile so disarming
Pushed me into the right direction
    On the right track
I’m ready to face my demons
Locked on this path of destiny

    The regrets I left behind
    will save me now
When I look upon your face
Oh, I see the hope I wish I had
    You spoke the words
I still weren’t ready to hear
But you pulled me in and made me feel
All the things I denied myself
‘Cos, you’re the happy to my ever after

    Two hands saved me
    With a smile so disarming
Pushed me into the right direction
    On the right track
I’m ready to face my demons
Locked on this path of destiny

    There’s no other way
No other path I’m willing to go
You’re the light, the guiding light
    Illuminating this darkness
    This dark empty life
    You give me purpose

    Two hands saved me
    (two hands clung to me)
    With a smile so disarming
Pushed me into the right direction
    On the right track
I’m ready to face my demons
    (ready to fight)
    (ready to fight)
    (ready to fight)
You’re the light, the guiding light
    You give me purpose
    In this dark empty place
    (You’re the light)
    (You’re the light)
    (You’re the light)
    my ever after

A Sundered Heart (a poem in free verse)

By the pale moonlight a fair maid’s  heart was left sundered and undone

In the darkness of eternal night it lay cursed and its truth renounced

Hard and dark it became closed to all but for a child’s belief

Through his belief a single shard of light flickers in the gloam

But true love must hasten now for by its hand alone can all be made whole

    Ode to the t-word

    The t-word is confusing.

    It mystifies the mind.

Many have tried to solve its mystery.

    Earning headaches,

    Laboring with facts,

Insisting that each time they have mastered it,

    Never really making progress,

    Eventually giving up.
