I really can’t stay
(But baby, it’s cold outside)
I’ve got to go away
(But baby, it’s cold outside)
This evening has been
(Been hoping that you’d drop in)
So very nice
(I’ll hold your hands, they’re just like ice)
Snow and Henry will start to worry
(Beautiful, what’s your hurry?)
David and Emma will be pacing the floor
(Listen to the fireplace roar)
So really I’d better scurry
(Beautiful, please don’t hurry)
But maybe just a half a drink more
(Put some records on while I pour)
The town might think
(Baby, it’s bad out there)
Say, what’s in this drink?
(No cabs to be had out there)
I wish I knew how
(Your eyes are like starlight now)
To break this spell
(I’ll take your hat, your hair looks swell)
I ought to say no, no, no, sir
(Mind if I move in closer?)
At least I’m gonna say that I tried
(What’s the sense in hurting my pride?)
I really can’t stay
(Baby, don’t hold out)

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight
They know that Santa’s on his way
He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother’s child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly
And so I’m offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although it’s been said many times
Many ways, Merry Christmas to you"If you go as far as you can see...you will then see enough to go even further." - Finn Balor

A disappearance
A lover sobbing alone

Pictures reveal
I look at these pictures upon the wall
And I watch your life before me unfold
The things you held back
The pain you must have kept inside
Now I understand that look in your eye
Today I’m relearning our own history
If only I could turn back time and tell you.
We could have had everything we ever wanted.
I lost the only man I ever loved…
(love, love, love, loved ya so).
If only I could turn back time and tell you.
We could have had everything we ever wanted.
I look at these pictures upon the wall
And I watch your life before me unfold
The things you held back
The pain you must have kept inside
Now I understand that look in your eye
I understand the reasons why you left
If I knew then what I know now…
I lost the only man I ever loved…
(love, love, love, loved ya so).
If only I could turn back time and tell you.
We could have had everything we ever wanted.
I would fight for you, for us
Tell you every day how much you’re wanted
Speak the words that we heard so few
If only I could turn back time and tell you.
We could have had everything we ever wanted.
I lost the only man I’ll ever love…
(love, love, love, love ya so).

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Let your heart be light
From now on,
our troubles will be out of sightHave yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay,
From now on,
our troubles will be miles away. Here we are as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.Through the years
We all will be together,
If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.
And have yourself A merry little Christmas now."If you go as far as you can see...you will then see enough to go even further." - Finn Balor
