Hello guys, I’d love to know your opinion about this:
I know that S4 is almost certain.
If both S3 second-half and S4 continue just like this, do you think the show will end with S4 or it will get a S5? š
Just wondering.
I so don’t want it to end š I love it the way it is.[adrotate group="5"]December 23, 2013 at 1:06 pm #233441RumplesGirlKeymasterHello guys, Iād love to know your opinion about this: I know that S4 is almost certain.

I so donāt want it to end I love it the way it is.It depends on the numbers for each half. Any guess I make now is going to be a blind one.
S4 is for sure. I would like to think that we’ll get at least 13 episodes of S5 to give us a full 100, enough time to finish all stories.
If the numbers don’t drastically improve, however, it won’t be going beyond that. Nothing is certain beyond S4.

I read that someone said that since it’s still between 1.9 and 2.2, we should get at least 6 seasons.

Right NOW it is between 1.9 and 2.2, but you have to consider that with each passing season, shows tends to loose ratings not gain. For example: the pilot was a 4.0 and 102 was a 3.9.
S3 opener had a 2. 6. In other words, it’s a gradual decline. The only way I can see it getting a FULL six seasons is if the ratings move upward and stay there for the whole of 3B and S4 (and of course S5)

That’s why I thought that maybe if it remained like this (or a little less) in 3B and S4, it could get a chance to have a full S5! But I don’t know. Maybe that’s still not enough… And yeah sadly, it’s unlikely that the ratings will increase a lot.

Granted, I believe ONCE still has been the top rated scripted show on Sundays, but as ratings have gone down, itās not a good thingā¦ā¦.. The worst sign is that fans knew that episode 11 would be the winter finale and they still stayed away.
I think that the NL arc (which I liked in general) was dark and stuffy, sort of claustrophobic, and I can see how it wouldnāt have been for everyone. Ā There was not enough SB at all (making us wait until 7? Not a good idea as it turned out. How come they couldnāt have checked in earlier?), and way WAY too much Snowing, especially in The New Neverland. Ā Rumbelle, IMO, was strengthened Ā enormously over the course of the 11 episodes, BUT there was not enough of them and their reunion was way too short. Hook? There WAS a lot of him – of course heās on his old stomping grounds, so itās understandable – but stillā¦ā¦..and ABCās promotion of them, of CS, justā¦.god, enough.
I think S4 is a given and it helps that ABC likes the show, but it’s still a business. I DO think that if ONCE struggles in S4, that ABC would likely make ONCE a mid-season replacement with, say a 13 episosde order, in S5 -thereby giving Adam/Eddy a chance to wrap up the show. I don’t think ABC would just cancel it outright.
It’s sad, but when watching the Skin Deep commentary, you get the idea that this show had Ā a really long run in it….Jane seemed to think that for sure. Apparently 7 seasons is the goal when starting a new show, but that’s not ever going to happen with ONCE.. They’re struggling just to make it through 3 and 4.

I disagree there wasn’t enough in my opinion, it was a shame when Snow and Emma was in FTL that the writers didn’t have them talk about each others pass. Even in NL, what a waste no talking about how Emma meet Neal etc.
I personally don’t like SB, to me that is just boring, I am not a fan of Belle or Neal so I don’t want to see anything on them. The Pilot started out with Snow and David but now they are side lined for all these new characters. Perhaps it would be better if they break off Snow and David and leave them in FTL and do the Cinderella ending for what they are allowed to contribute to the story anymore. Snow was the leading lady but lately she isn’t nothing.
