It’s perfectly fine. The big thing to focus on is that we didn’t fall from the previous week. People returned to see watch 313–so in other words, they enjoyed the story enough to come back.
We might start falling a tad from here on out (after the second episode people start to decide if they want to stick around or not) but we’re doing well so far.

“Once Upon a Time” (8:00-9:00 p.m. – 7.8 million and 2.4/7 in AD18-49):Winning the 8 o’clock hour for the 2nd straight week in Adults 18-49, ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” held steady with its week-ago rating. The show was up 4% its year-ago performance (2.3/6 on 3/17/13). The ABC drama was the No. 1 most social series on broadcast Sunday night (79,373 tweets).
“Resurrection” (9:00-10:01 p.m. – 11.2 million and 3.1/8 in AD18-49):
Building on its lead-in by 29% at 9:00 p.m. in Adults 18-49, ABC’s “Resurrection” (3.1/8) more than doubled NBC’s time-period premiere of “Believe” (+107% – 1.5/4) in the hour, as well as CBS’ “The Good Wife” (+138% – 1.3/3). “Resurrection” retained a strong 82% of its huge week-ago premiere Adult 18-49 rating. Excluding only last week’s big debut, the new show drew ABC’s largest series audience in the hour in 3 years – since 3/6/11 with “Desperate Housewives.”

Also on ABC, meanwhile, was veteran “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at a second-place 3.9/ 7 at 7 p.m., followed by “Once Upon a Time” at a 4.3/ 7 from 8-9 p.m., which dropped by nine percent from the 4.7/ 7 one week earlier.

Based off that, I’m going to guess we slipped from our 2.4 for the past two weeks to about a 2.2.

Well, I did predict we’d fall. It’ll go up in the next day and then the next three, but it looks like maybe the “sister act” is turning people off. I suspect we’ll be down next week as well, or at least stay the same.
Now no one panic, our 4th season is guaranteed, but I do hope we don’t fall too low after this.

ABC news, in my viewing area on the HD channel, went 10 minutes into the 8:00 time schedule, with America’s Home Videos totally gone from their line-up, then plastered in some unscheduled half hour show. I turned it back to the non HD channel which I also DVR…
The regular, local, ABC channel seemed to be on target, but anyone only watching HD channels was totally screwed.

Hmmm. Thanks for the heads up. Anything and everything could play in. The live + next day might be a better representation. I suspect we’ll go up to a 2.1 at least.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 24, 2014 at 3:43 pm #255251MatthewPaulModeratorIt should be noted that a baskeball game on CBS ran 45 mins overtime, which was also a likely factor in the ratings. Notice the other 8pm shows are also lower than usual.

As suspected, we did tick up (I think Matt was right about the basketball game hurting us)
