Will Neverland Be A Permanent Destination?
We’ve given a lot of thought about how our Storybrooke residents might end up in Neverland, but not much to what happens when they get there. Because, the thing is: if they go to Neverland, they’ll be in Neverland. And, from what we remember, that’s not the sort of trip you take lightly. What if this trip is less of a vacation and more of a move? Some fans are speculating that the trip to Neverland could stretch into Season 3.

Moderator edit: Fixed “Netherland” to “Neverland” in the title[adrotate group="5"]I’ve been convinced for awhile now that the entire core cast (Emma, The Charmings, Regina, Henry, Rumbelle, Hook, and MRJ) are going to go to Neverland and stay there for awhile. I don’t know if it will be all season but it’s going to be a significant amount of time. I think we’re going to bid farewell to SB as well. If we do flashback there, it might be because GOAT are still there and trying to find a way to NL. I think it was Slurpeez who postulated that perhaps the rest of the cast (Red, Granny, the dwarves, ect) will go back to the EF to try and take down the Ogres and make it safe again.

I think Bae will learn the truth about Tamara by the last episode, mostly because there’s only so long that story arch can continue before we all explode with boredom. While I’m interested to know Tamara’s agenda, I would hate to wait until S3 to discover it. A thought just occurred to me. What if the reason we haven’t seen MRJ is because Tamara some how detained Neal once he discovers the truth about her? I’m hoping Neal escapes to Neverland before that could happen, but there is a reason he’s been absent from filming on the Jolly Roger with the Charmings, Regina, Rumple, and Hook. Tamara had better not harm a hair on Neal’s head! 😡

Good point ^ but I also wonder if this is true what happened to all the magic beans wouldn’t that be a faster way to get to Netherland?

Interesting. I was inclined to say that Neal wouldn’t learn the truth about Tamara until S3 because I pictured Tamara turning on Owen at the last second and somehow getting aboard the Jolly Roger (she is his fiancee after all). The audience would know her agenda, but Neal and crew wouldn’t. And they wouldn’t until like episode 2 of S3.

I expect the core cast would set sail for Neverland by throwing a magical bean into the ocean, which would create an underwater vortex, just like we saw in 2×4 The Crocodile. Hopefully, they’d take a long a huge harvest of beans to be able to return to SB or the EF one day, and to make sure Tamara doesn’t get her grubby hands on the magic beans.

They better take the entire crop with them or else GOAT will use them. But since you need drama GOAT will also find another way to follow the Jolly Roger since Tamara obviously wants magic pretty badly.
