I think, since there’s no mention of Will and Jafar makes Ana love him, that Will is the one that dies. It sucks, as he’s in my top ten favorite Onceiverse character list, but I think he’s it.
I was thinking this too, but I didn’t want to say it!!! Noooo!!!! I hope they can bring him back since the rules of magic are changed.

Jafar’s gonna think he’s won, he’ll have the fake love of his father, and the fake love of Ana to keep him warm at night, but in end, I’m sure his plans will fall apart and he’ll end up losing it all, and quite possibly dying. Perhaps Amara knows she has to sacrifice herself to the Well Of Wonders, (it’s gotta come into play if it’s the location for the battle), and she grabs Jafar and drags him under with her.
^ I sort of hope Jafar survives but is enslaved as a genie of the lamp. My main reason for wanting Jafar to survive is so he can become a S4 villain on “Once Upon a Time” the parent show.

I agree. I really want Jafar on OUAT but Phee’s theory sounds really legit.
Jafar was supposed to die as a boy when his father held him under the water but fate (through the ring his mother gave him) brought him back. By both Amara and Jafar going into the Well, balance will have been restored.

I guess it doesn’t matter because it’s the end of the show so team Alice has to win at the end.

Yep, sucks to be Jafar and have to drown TWICE, but I think it’s the most poetic way to wrap up his storyline.
He’d be a good villain for the main show if they need another one in future, though off the top of my head I can’t think of how they’d tie him in. If they ever get around to Aladdin and Jasmine, then I guess, but assuming one of Cyrus’ brothers was the genie in their story, Jafar won his battle against them because he got the genie lamp, so it’s not like he’d have unfinished business with Aladdin and Jasmine in present day. I could see them using him in Aladdin and Jasmine flashbacks though.
So, we have flash foreword to Alice and her daughter. But we also have flash back to Alice’s little sister, mother and father.
I’m going to be very disappointed if this story ends with Alice reading Alice In Wonderland to her daughter. Or, crazy Alice, in the asylum, years later as her daughter comes to visit her. A lingering question. Was the story true? Or imaginary?
Am I the only one not surprised by Jafar becoming all-powerful? It happens in the Aladdin movie…
Consider the fact that Genie (from Aladdin) is the most powerful Disney character thats ever been created. Jafar’s final wish was to be the most powerful genie ever. That technically makes Jafar disney’s strongest villain. (in the show or sequels, I believe its revealed once a genie is freed, they become weaker, so Jafar is definitely more powerful than Blue Genie now) Anyway, I’m just saying…. Well hmm. I forgot where I was going with all this >>
