And I am super excited about one of the actors OUAT booked because he was another show that I really loved, Alphas and now, he’s going to be on Once.
John Pyper-Ferguson has booked a large guest star role on the ABC fairy tale hit. He’ll play Ben, a “widower who wants nothing more than to help his young son heal from the loss of his mother.” See if you can figure out the mythological character being explored there. Ben’s son will be played by previously announced guest star Benjamin Stockham (1600 Penn). They’ll appear in the 17th episode this season.

January 25, 2013 at 3:14 pm #169791RumplesGirlKeymasterPlease let his name be “Davy” Jones. I don’t trust that his name is really “Ben.” It’s gotta be Davy.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 25, 2013 at 3:58 pm #169750PheeParticipantI’m hoping for that too! Surely they didn’t give Hook, a man of the sea, a mundane name like Jones without there being a reason for it, right? And now if this is PapaHook who’s mourning the loss of his love, that totally ties in with the Davy from the Pirates movies.
Was just reading this on wikipedia…
In J. M. Barrie’s 1904 play and 1911 novel Peter and Wendy, Captain Hook sings a song:
Yo ho, yo ho, the pirate life,
The flag o’ skull and bones,
A merry hour, a hempen rope,
And hey for Davy Jones.
—J. M. Barrie…so there’s already a tiny little connection there. Wouldn’t be surprised if K&H took that and ran with it.

That’s just a regular picture. I’m not sure if the scruffy will stay once he gets in character.

Hm, ja, Hook the son of the man, whose name became the synonym for devil to sailors, and an alleged sea godess. Yup, like that idea. 😛
¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯

😀Yes, great find! Now, I really want Davv Jones to be Hook’s daddy!
