    RECOMMEND COMPUTER GAMES

I am totally bored with the current computer game I am playing … after all I have played the series over 6years…. Anno 1602 to the current DAWN of Discovery. ( I have the ANNO 2070, BUT can not get it to work. ) I would like different games… more into THINKING, STRATEGY…. do not like violence. .. shoot them up.

If you have any of the games you like please recommend them.

    thanks

Sims 3 is great. I’ve been trying to make the Storybrooke versions of the characters from Once upon a Time.

    If you press “c” during gameplay it’ll take a picture that’ll be saved to Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Screenshots (:

I’ve enjoyed the Command & Conquer series of real-time strategy (RTS) games. Lately, I’ve been playing UniWar, a mobile, turn-based RTS.

Cliche, but both World of Warcraft and Skyrim have me feeling like a character running around FTL.

I don’t play many video/computer games – but I really appreciate a rich storyline and character and dialogue. My most recent venture is DragonAge Origins. I’m at a slow part now and haven’t played much recently, but the voice acting and dialogue is really awesome – and I can set it on casual gameplay so the combat isn’t very difficult.

The Kingdom Hearts series is also wonderful, esp. if you like the Disney aspect. It’s a cross between Final Fantasy (which I’ve played 7-13, those are all also wonderful(mostly)), and Disney.

If you don’t mind old graphics, one of my favorite computer-only games was “The Dig” by LucasArts. it’s pretty cheap through Steam. The music and scenery was beautiful and the storyline intriguing. It’s an adventure game so there is no combat, but rather explorations and puzzles to complete.

You may love Portal and Portal 2 (play them in order). They’re “first-person shooter” style, but they’re not war games. It’s a puzzle/thinking game where you have a portal gun and have to figure your way through levels with obstacles. Jenny was not at all a gamer, but she fell in love with Portal! They’re not only a ton of fun, but they’re also really funny because of the voices in the games.

Right now, the original Portal is $10, and Portal 2 is on sale for $5.

You MUST play the first Portal before playing the second.
