Loved a game called Gray Matter by Jane Jensen, a point and click puzzle/adventure game about a young female magician/street performer who becomes involved with a mysterious scientist who is trying to contact his dead wife. Got it on XBox an off the radar type of game, its on PC as well. Although I have read on the Gray Matter forums its difficult to get now.
A welcome change to the games I normally play.
Civilization V – rocks on so many levels!
League of Legends! 😀 Its an online battle-style game…maybe some here play it!

I usually loose at those types of games. I like strategy games… went through all the Nancy Drew and finding clues/ mystery… tried UNISOFT newest ANNO 2070 but it will not work on my computer. (My computer is pretty new and has the game playing features.) So looking for something new.
I have internet restrictions on amount of download so I do not play on line games too often. I prefer to play off line. Willing to d/l a good game to my computer but having trouble finding them.
Recommendations wanted… get anything good for Christmas.

I’ll re-recommend Civilization 5 then – it’s a REALLY good strategy game where agriculture and diplomacy is just as important as the size of your troops.
I cannot praise it well enough – I was recently looking for a good game myself and when I discovered it – Jackpot!
League of legends is an all strategy game….like, really. You’re battling other peeps, but it is all where you put your person. I really recommend you try it 🙂

Evil Dead: Regeneration. Funniest game ever.
You play as Ash from the Evil Dead movies and you get to kill deadites, rescue the girl from the mad doctor and save the world. The real gem in that game isn’t the joy of chainsawing a zombie in half or all the slapstick humor, it’s listening to the banter between Ash and his sidekick in the game, Sam.
Bruce Campbell voices Ash and Ted Raimi does the voice of Sam, and they will have you laughing so much you don’t want to finish the game.
