I am obsessed with The Tudors right now on Netflix (almost done with season 3) and currently watching Alphas on Syfy.

I wish Smallville would come to Netflix. I only started watching season 7 when Laura Vandervoort came on as Supergirl. I haven’t seen the earlier seasons.

I’ve fallen (deeply) in love with Downton Abbey recently. Got to watch the first and second season and am now anxiously waiting for season 3. Together with OUaT and Sherlock my favourite series in years. Marvelous British humour (if you like it, it’s a must!) and truly fantastic performances as well as costumes.
I’ll be starting Firefly tonight, so let’s see how that turns out.

Obisgirl, is The Tudors still running?

When the Tudors was on, we didn’t have Showtime so I’m watching via Netflix. No more new episodes. but it’s new to me since it’s my first time watching.

I love Downtown Abbey! When does season 3 start?
Although I missed it when it aired (got canceled after one season!) I really love Pushing Daisies! Just the right mix of whimsical and dark, plus is a mesh up of fairytales/detective dramas (fan of Sherlock as well..).

Trying to get through Neverland (2011) on Netflix right now. Parts I really like and find intriguing to the story…but others just cause me to walk away. I’ve actually chosen to do chores today instead of watching the last part: probably not the best sales pitch. 😀

@Lil’Red: Downton Abbey 3 comes out in September ’12 in the UK and in January or February ’13 in the US.
Can’t wait either! To pass the time I watched Gosford Park, also written by Julian Fellows. It’s a film from 2001 and a mixture of the Upstairs, Downstairs-drama and Agatha Christie. Loved it (Plus, if you’re acquainted with British actors, you’ll know half the cast, lol.)!

A British one- Children of the Stones- the scariest children’s TV show you will ever see, from the 70’s.

    BONES
    NCIS
    LEVERAGE
    WHITE COLLAR
    DEXTER… really dark and murderous
    PSYCHE

I buy DVDs of the old season on sale for cheap and frequently find good shows that are out of productions but I can watch in sequence.

My husband watches foreign mystery and crime shows with subtitles and we frequently watch them together…. PBS shows them on Saturday and Sunday nights… our date night… we love it…
