We all know that I don’t ship anything on OUAT. However, I have shipped many things which is probably why I don’t ship anymore. My first ship started with Buffy and ended with Secret Life of an American Teenager.
Television Shows
Spike/Buffy: I know, I know! She was destined to be with Angel, however, I loved them together. They were both broken and could make each other whole. Spike really cared for her.
Angel/Cordellia: I shipped this so hard! Then she died đ They fought and Angel brought the best out of her. She was funny and wasn’t as serious as Buffy.
Piper/Leo: I was a big Piper and Leo supporter on Charmed. I was very excited when they got together and then equally upset when they divorced.
Max and Liz: I loved Roswell! By now you can probably guess I was a Y2K teenager. When Tess (Reasons why I want dark Belle) came along and tried to break them up I was crushed. How could he be with her? It made me hate Max. Then the series finale made me whole again.
Adrian/Ben: Secret Life of an American Teenager wasted five years of my life with a horrible finale. The only couple I wanted to see together was Adrian and Ben. They lost a child together and then it failed. I knew it was doomed in the beginning because they only got together because of said child, however, they brought out the good in one another. Adrian wasn’t a snot and Ben wasn’t so annoying.
Literary
Jo/Teddy: They should have ended up together in Little Women. They were great for one another. However, Jo was too strong for Teddy and so he ended up with Amy.
Dumbledore/McGonagall: Well I liked them together and thought they had a past. Obviously I was wrong about that one!

I never thought about this but I could hop aboard this ship. I recall reading more about McGonagall’s past on Pottermore and how kind and compassionate Dumbledore was to her in her time of need (when he found her crying in the classroom) and I was just like….. :'( if nothing else, there were extremely great friends

Secret Life wasted my time too….all that I shipping I gave Ricky and Amy…after all the tears and frustration…they pull a stunt like that! How could Amy just abandon John and Ricky for New York…like I really wanted to kick her (beep)!!!
And Ben and Adrian…though it seemed the most unlikely couple…they definitely could have made it work!

I watched the movie and then I started to read fanfiction about the movie, and there was one fanfic I really loved. It’s called “Destiny Takes Time”; it was Phantom/Christine centric and I remember, the fic was so beautifully written. It was one of those rare occasions where I sat through reading a multi-chapter fic and the kicker, for me, was that the Phantom/Christine’s baby name is my name in real life.
The power of really good, very well written fanfics đ It can make you ‘ship stuff you wouldn’t think twice about.
(I can’t link to the fic since it’s NC-17 rated, but I remember reading it on fanfiction.net).
And Pacey and Joey from Dawson’s Creek
Even though Dawson is the title character, I never really liked him. He was so whiny, so incredibly indecisive and I hated how entitled he felt most of the time.
But I liked Pacey. He was the relatable, screw-up best friend and Joey was the best friend from next door. All three knew each other since they were kids. And then in season three, Pacey realized, I’m in in love with my best friend’s ex-girlfriend (Joey); Pacey and Joey were together for a season, then broke up but the series finale made it to up to me when they Pacey and Joey ended up together.
Oh and Pacey had a boat that he named ‘True Love’ in honor of his love for Joey. He also bought her a wall so she could repaint her mural.
I’ve thought long and hard about this thread. My list of Non OUAT OTP ( I still read fanfiction about them from time to time):
Neri & Jason(Ocean Girl/Ocean Odyssey)– I love them together.They were so cute and have wonderful story about love built on friendship (since preteen I gues). They were always there for eachothe, shared the same values. I’ve always wondered what would become of them after season4 finale. Atempted to write a fic once.
Meave & Sinbad(AdventuresofSinbad)– They were adorable. Kinda like first crush. It felt like wachting them grow up to face their feelings for each other. They cared for each other deeply. I’ve always thought they loved each other. Unfortunatly the actress, who played Meave quit acting altogether, and after horribly written season 2, the show has been canceled. Atempted to write a fic once.
Usagi & Mamoru-all of their incarnation(SailorMoon manga version mostly)– forbiden lovers, reborn to be together again, first timless love, soulmates. All sweet and tragic and powerfull. Manga version of them(ie 3 year difference) is my favorite. It’s little less naive then anime. Atempted to write a fic several times .I wacht Sailor Moon Crystal- mya dream about manga adaptation came true( with little alterations
Harry & Hermione(Harry Potter Series)– till book 6 I realy thought they would be together. They could have a healty relationship buid on friendship and understending. I saw Ron with Luna, and Nevile with Ginny. Through part 6 & 7, I’ ve felt like I was reading someone else books. I was mad for a while, but then got over it. I don’t read fanfiction anymore but becouse I was so emotional about them I still count this ship as OTP>
Luke Skywalker & Mara Jade- Skywalker(StarWars- expanded universe)– Luke Skywalker- hero with complicated origins, epitome of a Jedi. Iâve always wanted a love interest for him. Timothy Zahn wrote Thrawans Trilogy for SW expanded universe and I was sold. Mara Jade a former assassin, turned smuggler, turned Jedi, with all of her complicated past, broken and beautiful was the on for him. She didnât put on with Lukeâs mistakes, had the guts to put him in his place, when he was exaggerating, didnât treat him as saint. He didnât judge her for her past, encouraged her to change her life, to be a better version of herself. They didnât let past, affiliation or prejudices get to them. Two broken people who understood and found home in each other. Love is a strange and funny thing.
Veronica & Logan(Veronica Mars)– my only teen angst OTP. I loved them for all that drama in their relationship. It wasnât healthy, logical or an example to follow but there was something in it I could never forget. Sassy, full of passion and drama. I was beyond excited when the move came out last year- a fan dream of mine came true.
Question: So I’ve never seen Star Wars but…. Luke and Leia….? Are they siblings? If so…do people still ship them? Am I missing something >_>

Luke and Leia are siblings. I don’t know if people ‘ship them but I kinda remember watching a trailer on the DVDs called Forbidden Love and it wasn’t about Han and Leia.
Yeah, they are siblings, but they were separated at birth and raised on completely different planets. And they got to know each other fairly well before they discovered they were brother and sister. And the audience found out when they did.
So that’s probably where any shippers are coming from. đ

Jagged Fel and Jaina Solo
She’s the only daughter of Han and Leia and he’s a pilot with ties to Wedge Antilles (Jag is his nephew). I just loved their first meeting in the New Jedi Order, where he ignores meeting a bunch of political people, walks right up to her and he loves right away how Jaina’s a pilot and a Jedi. I just imagine Jaina had this goofy flattered grin on her face. Â It’s been a long time since I read the New Jedi Order (couldn’t keep up with the whole series), but I remember they sparred together at one point, ended up working closely together and then I read in wikipedia that they got married and I was like, I knew it!!!.
Other ‘ship from that series I loved (this one is definitely a crack ‘ship), Â Jacen and Tahiri.
