It is not a multi verse theory though. This is a different individual whose name is also Cinderella. Why does Cinderella look different while Hook and Rumpel look the same? We haven’t seen Regina in the present day scenes in the new neighborhood, so we don’t know if it is a new Regina or not. Maybe just Regina is the same and is still our Regina who is Henry’s mother.
Are they seriously going to have a new Snow and a new Aurora and a new Peter Pan and a new just everyone? Multi verse like Fringe is where there are these slightly different versions of everyone is not what they seem to be doing. The whole there is a cartoon version and a live action version and a book version is the dumbest explanation that i have ever heard. The whole point was that the characters on Ouat were supposed to be the real versions of all of those characters.
The whole how are these stories in our world before they existed in time in the Enchanted Forest never bothered me because it is a simple fix, the author can move through time.

In another, SQ is canon. In another rumple gave up magic for belle early on, ECT ECT ECT.
I think there are Alt Universes like you described like with the Wish Realm, where the characters are basically the same, but there are a ton of what if scenarios involved. But there are also Universes where entirely different versions of these characters exist that share nothing in common except maybe the same names and a few basic plot points. As an example, let’s say we were to get another version of Rapunzel in “New Enchanted Forest”, but she was much closer to the Tangled version, and was even accompanied by characters such as Flynn Rider and Mother Gothel. I hope they somehow address this on screen, cause I would imagine Henry would be as confused as we are, the moment he meets the new Cinderella/his future wife. “But wait, you can’t be Cinderella. I already met Cinderella, and she was a completely different person.”

Hopefully we can just grin and bare whatever muddled mess this Season 7 will be! Who knows, maybe it’ll make sense in the premiere…or it could get worse.

So in a way, this could be their chance to redo stories that they probably didn’t put their best effort into originally? Now that I think about it, Jefferson did sort of tease the possibilities of many, many other realms and universes back in Season 1. So in this New Enchanted Forest…could the EQ, Rumplestilskin, & Captain Hook actually have been….”heroes” rather than villains, especially given the new jobs we see Killian and Mr. Gold having as policemen.

What I’m saying is that they’re riffing on the multiverse theory, which other shows are doing (very well) right now. I’m not saying they’re doing it RIGHT, because as I said, the same characters with the same names should still have the same face, (like in Arrow, they killed Earth-1 Laurel Lance, who was a goodguy, and now they’ve brought in Earth-2 Laurel Lance, who is played by the same actress, but is a badguy). They’re ripping off the idea that’s been successful for other shows, and attempting their own version, but the logic of their version doesn’t make sense.

Yes, exactly. There needs to be some serious world building going on this season because for Henry to not even blink at the whole “other Cinderella” thing would be extremely weird.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"July 15, 2017 at 10:28 pm #340300RumplesGirlKeymasterAnother question that will be answered early will be whether Hook and Emma have a kid together. “[We’ll] answer that at the beginning of the season,” Kitsis confirmed.
That seems to all but confirm that they do. The issue is time because none of the actresses cast so far can pull off a 14 yr old if CS had a baby right away or younger as is more likely the case. It’s the same reason why many of us believed none of the actresses could be baby Robyn.

Yeah, the reason a multi verse is interesting on a show is because it is the same actor playing a different version like the Laurels or all the characters on Fringe. They are trying to do this, but what they are doing does not make sense, in my opinion. One it isn’t actually a different universe. They are all in the land without magic. Henry drove from Storybrooke where the other Cinderella is to Seattle where his Cinderella is at. The idea that there is another Enchanted Forest 2 out there causes a whole lot of problems. How do they get there if it is actually a different universe and how did they get to the Land Without Magic? It can’t be just the same normal bean way or curse way and it be a multi verse, at least not to me.
I think the writers of this show just don’t care about the complication of doing things like this. You have to keep your timeline and your world building so tight and they cannot do it. They just aren’t doing it right. It is just willy nilly, oh there is magic, we can do anything with magic, it doesn’t have to be consistent with itself or consistent with the rules of the world, it can just be anything.
I have no desire to see a Regina who is not Henry’s mother. I am hoping that she, at least, is our Regina from Storybrooke because Regina has nothing holding her there anyways. I am really hoping they just focus on the new characters, but we know they aren’t because they are wasting the second episode of the season on Hook which the majority of the audience does not want to see.

Though we’re assuming any of those babies would age normally. After all, we just had a Season where one of the main plot points was baby Gideon aging 28 years in the Dark Realm, where time moved faster than the real world. lol!
