Another question that will be answered early will be whether Hook and Emma have a kid together. “[We’ll] answer that at the beginning of the season,” Kitsis confirmed.
That seems to all but confirm that they do. The issue is time because none of the actresses cast so far can pull off a 14 yr old if CS had a baby right away or younger as is more likely the case. It’s the same reason why many of us believed none of the actresses could be baby Robyn.
Well even if they have a teenage baby two for Emma that doesn’t mean the actor has to actually be a teenager. There are a lot of 25 year old actors playing teenagers out there. I am not saying any of these actors are, but someone older could be playing younger.

Oh to be sure. Adelaide Kane did just spend 4-5 yrs playing a 16-19yr old and she’s actually 26. So it’s possible, just maybe not with these recently announced ones since CS baby could only be 14 yrs at max.

I’m…..kind of intrigued by this….. There are different versions of lots of stories told all across the world….hmmm… I’d love to see a more story accurate version of the little mermaid… Or even Snow White….. Maybe not Sleeping Beauty though.
Having more Disney accurate versions of some characters (like Rapunzel) would be fun, but it would also be really cool to have darke versions of others aswell. But my biggest optimistic view about this:
IT WILL HELP US SEE THIS SHOW AS SOEMTHING ENTIRELY SEPERATE AND DIFFERENT THAN THE PREVIOUS OUAT.
If we have a new Cinderella, new snow white, new everyone, we can all just pretend this is a different show altogether.
With Emma only being there in 1ep how will Hook act
The fact they even decided to ask this question is lowkey hilarious. If Hook’s really a changed man, his actions shouldn’t be dependent on whether or not Emma is present. Same issue I have with Rumpel.

Yeah, the Hook we know. This is a new, cursed, memory-less Hook. So he will have eyes for someone else? Great. I bet a thousand cookies Hook is gonna be written as ship-bait once more this season, falling for some woman is obviously a villain. Henry will have to convince him to leave her because his true love is really Emma, blah blah. Gah. I had hope for this guy this season.

I think a person will try to flirt with him or something but he won’t do anything because a part of him knows it’s wrong. Similar to Charming from S1. I imagine Lucy will wake up Hook not Henry. Once Hook is awake I imagine his priority will be getting back to Emma and the cs child.

well the thing is, if this is not original Hook, but another version, this HOOK may fall for 1000 women, bc in this version Emma means nothing to him.

They chose to re-set the show but with the same old memory-erasing curse and re-cast the same old Disney characters but with different actors. I get that it’s basically a parallel universe, but it seems really boring to me. Why go the route of Cinderella when there are still plenty of other fairy-tale characters, legends, and folklore to draw from? Why not make Tiana the main princess since we haven’t seen her? The writers could have introduced a Spanish or Russian fairy-tale or something new. They could have kept Violet as a new, original character or introduced someone else as Lucy’s mother. *sigh*

Completely agree. There is SO much untapped literary and Disney material to pull from. I don’t want a different Cinderella, or Red Riding Hood, or Peter Pan – their stories have already been established in the OUAT universe. Now people are going to be constantly comparing the new version of the character to the old.

No through the same means Emma did in the finale. With the book, and probably the story of him and Emma.
I imagine the same will be said for Regina and Rumple as well.
