[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 19, 2014 at 6:50 pm #262546MatthewPaulModerator“Once Upon a Time” executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz were joined by cast members Josh Dallas and Rebecca Mader for a WonderCon panel on Saturday (April 19) down in Anaheim, Calif. and the foursome dropped some major teases for the final episodes of the ABC fairytale drama’s Season 3.
In fact, in Kitsis’ own words, “These next few episodes are just a non-stop freight train of answers.” Yeah, things are about to get crazy on “OUAT.”
The audience in attendance was treated to a sneak peek viewing of Sunday’s (April 20) episode, “Bleeding Through,” which was full of shipper payoffs, big reveals and shocking flashbacks. But Kitsis and Horowitz are already excited for fans to see next Sunday’s (April 27) episode, “A Curious Thing.”
“Next week’s episode is one of my favorite Snow/Charming episodes,” Kitsis says. “And we’ll find out all about the baby.”
Dallas adds, “We also find out who cast the curse, don’t we?”
“Yeah we do, don’t we, Josh?” Kitsis confirms. “That’s a pretty big reveal!”
And the teases didn’t stop there. Horowitz told the audience — to big applause, no less — something big about Henry getting his memory back. “Henry’s memory issues will be decided one way or another by the end of this season,” Horowitz says. “One way or another.”
As for Henry’s father Neal who died in a recent episode, Kitsis revealed that we may not have seen the last of Neal/Baelfire. “He will remain in our hearts — and in flashbacks,” Kitsis says. Both Kitsis and Horowitz also discussed how Neal’s sacrifice was very meaningful in the fact that it made Neal a hero, and ended the family’s history of cowardice, first with Pan then Rumpel.
Speaking of Rumpel, this Sunday’s episode of “OUAT” features a very surprising exchange between Rumpel and Zelena/the Wicked Witch, one that Rumpel/Belle shippers will have mixed feelings about. But Kitsis had these words to say about a Rumbelle reunion: “I hope so or else that would be very bleak. But you never know on this show.”
“Once Upon a Time” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Calling it: Zelena uses Dorothy’s heart.

April 20, 2014 at 12:38 am #262598Bo-PeepsParticipantIf Rumple were so overwhelmingly smart, why didn’t he just hand the dagger to Belle while he had Neal in his arms? She was RIGHT THERE. (laughing because of course that would have eliminated the entire need for Zelena and we all so love to hate her guts! Whoever will we hate as much in season 4? Ah, maybe Rumple will be back to his old hellacious self after Zelena’s Quantum Leap move fails and he is left semi-insane again.)
I’m glad Regina” puts her Hoodie on” early, though without her heart, just how attached can she get? No matter, I love a good smooch….unless of course it is the Rumple/Zelena variety. That just ups the creep factor, no matter why he tries it. Not surprised they went there really, but still, cringe, they went there.
Hope a lot of people are done with their holiday/family gatherings in time to tune in, live!
And I wish Adam and Eddie would STOP using the term *I hope so or else…* blah blah blah~as if anyone else can make that decision. They have to OWN it, whatever it is. There is no omnipotent, great and powerful third party pulling the script strings behind that curtain.
And what will they do with a middle school=aged Henry? YIKES.

On the other hand, it makes it annoying that Leo didn’t appear to know Cora when he became engaged to Regina. Of course, we can assume that Cora cursed him to forget, or even that she told him he was gonna propose to her daughter whether he liked it or not or she’d kill Snow or something like that, but unless and until we’re shown that, it’ll feel like a plot hole.
Am really looking forward to the Snow/Regina stuff, and to Regina sincerely apologising to Belle! That stuff sounds seriously great, and makes me wish that Jane could be in charge of writing ALL the eps.
Dunno how I feel about OQ kissing so soon, and when she’s without her heart. Will have to watch that play out a bit to see if I can buy it 100% or not.

I can’t take credit for this one, but I’m on board with the theory that Hook sacrificed the JR to cast the Curse. If Zelena already cast this current Curse, then why does she even need to go back for a do-over, because she already got to do the thing she wanted to do.
I think Zelena may want the Snowflake so she’ll have someone to love unconditionally, so she’ll have someone to sacrifice in order to be able to cast the Curse in her do-over timeline.

But does a ship have a heart to sacrifice? Adam has recently said that someone’s heart was sacrificed just like Regina’s curse. Hook’s also not magical, and we’ve only seen magical people cast the curse. I also still don’t think Hook actually worked with Zelena, especially when their scene in 317 seemed to discredit that theory even more. Plus, Zelena still has her memories too. I just don’t see Hook casting a curse just to get to Emma, pinning or not.

The JR wasn’t any old ship, it was made of enchanted wood, so if any inanimate object could qualify to be an object that could be sacrificed for a curse, I’d say the JR could be it. They’ve established that Hook truly loved the JR, even valuing it over the lives of people. The JR is now missing, and Hook is hiding something major, and wouldn’t even tell Smee where the ship had gone. They’ve established Zelena as being willing to use Hook as a pawn. And I say again, if Zelena had cast this current curse herself, then why would she even need to go back to do it all again? The only other person around right now who still has their memories, and is keeping secrets, is Hook. And yes, I do think he’d have done anything to get back to Emma.
So all things considered, I think the theory makes a lot of sense.
