OUAT Filming Locations Map

I saw this on my twitter and had to post about it. I always thought OUAT filmed in one general area, Stevenson, Vancouver, Canada but if you look at the map at the top of the page, they film all over the place! I’m pretty sure the National Park stands in for Fairytale land/Storybrooke’s forest.

Now, if I ever went to Canada and found myself in these parks, I would totally fangirl out 😀 😯 Would probably drive my parents crazy 😆 😆

Funny how they use a library for the SB town hall and a “Fishing and Marine” store for the SB library. 😆

Thanks for the link! I have a friend in Vancouver who I’ve visited the last couple of years and now we’re both big Once fans, so I told her if I ever get back there, we’re going stalking filming locations. 😉 Gonna bookmark this for future reference.

Mr. Gold’s Pawnshop and Storybrooke Pet Shelter seem to be pretty semi-permanent fixtures in Steveston. The signs are always up.

When you look at it with street view on google maps it’s striking the absense of the clock tower 😯

Yah, I know. That’s what I meant – The library without the clock tower (because it’s CGI) is…odd.

I’m rewatching all of The X-Files as I usually do starting every October. I’m currently watching episode 2×21, “The Calusari”, about family plauged with misfortune beginning with the death of the youngest child. It was the spirit-turned-poltergueist twin brother of the oldest child. At time 26:43 of the episode, there is an exterior shot of the family’s house. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was the exact same location that is currently used for Regina’s house. I’m not too surprised since The X-Files was shot in the Vancover area for the first five seasons. 😀

The house is located on the north-east side of the 400 block of 5 Street, New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. You can look it up on Google Maps. It is the house with the two large trees with the wine-colored leaves. I think the stucco and brick house next door was used for another episode of OUAT, but I can’t remember where. It isn’t the DA’s house, but I wouldn’t be shocked if that one was in the same neighborhood.

Also kinda cool…I was watching the DVD extra about Steveston not even half an hour ago, and now this thread gets bumped up. We need Mulder and Scully to investigate this freaky coincidence. 😉
