I wonder if Jefferson and Rumpel are involved in helping Charming communicate across worlds with Snow. There is a picture of Rumpel holding an orb in his hand in the promotional pictures for 2×5, and then handing it to Jefferson. The orb reminds me of the palantír or “seeing stone” that Pippin finds at Isengard in Lord of the Rings. The wizard Saruman used the seeing stone to communicate with the dark lord, Sauron, but was ultimately corrupted by. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palant%C3%ADr

If Rumpel or Jefferson has the orb in FTL, I wonder if Charming will ask for help and use the crystal ball to communicate with Snow somehow. Jefferson is a portal jumper, so maybe he used the orb to communicate with people in other realms (like Dr. Whale).

Yes, it is an awesome picture. I’m also intrigued by how they’re going to communicate with each other and what it implies. Maybe they’re going to be trapped in FTL longer than I thought if they introduce this way of communicating with each other.

If Hansel’s and Gretel’s magic compass is the compass that they’re looking for in episode 6, I wonder if that what changes everything since it’s in Storybrooke. Also, I just read a theory today, but can’t find it now that Hansel and Gretel’s mother’s name in Storybrooke was Dory Zimmer which could point towards Dorothy Gale, since her name means Dorothy from the house up above, so maybe that’s how Oz ties into this season too if their mom was the Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz.

I would guess that person could only be after three people either Emma, Bae, or August. I would have to guess Bae just because some people found that the Mysterious Man kept looking around a lot, which could mean that people are after him, and the casting call did say that “Jack” was on the run from his past in a dangerous land. I thought Bae was done with his life of crime at this point if he was ready to make an honest woman out of Emma, 10 years ago, but even if he isn’t committing crime now, I could see old enemies still wanting to hurt him for whatever reason.

Hmmm, interesting! Jefferson doesn’t appear to have it in SB, but you’d think something like that would have been in Mr Gold’s shop. Maybe Snow finds another one in FTL and sends out an SOS call and the one in SB lights up.
