These writers don’t know how to do character development. Something else is going to happen. How are they even going to explain Regina, Rumpel, and Hook interacting? They all hate each other.

Let’s see now….one thing for sure about this Season 7…every ship is officially dead. Snowing are gone, Rumbelle is gone, OutlawQueen’s been gone, & CaptainSwan will be gone. With all ships sunk, that leaves room to focus storylines solely on the characters’ (both new & past) development. Our list of characters so far confirmed are Regina, Rumple, & Hook….and if Bex is coming back, that will include Zelena, therefore the main list will be mainly anti-heroes/villains. With Andrew West coming aboard, I know we all speculate he’s playing Adult Henry, and with Jared’s exit, that seems all the more likely….however I can’t help but feel there’s a small chance he’s playing adult, Prince Neal, whom to me seems like the next best candidate for the role of Savior considering he’s born out of the same true love as his older sister, who may or may not be deceased at this point. However with the Savior Mythology being as muddled as it has been this last season….what typically makes a Savior a Savior? What if the next season literally has no Savior this time, and that’s the purpose of Season 7…finding a new Savior? Maybe that’s why JMo would be appearing in the premiere, to send Adult Henry/Adult Prince Neal on his path to find the new Savior.

so you’re with me on the next Saviour, then as per my post.

The theory that Emma tasks Henry with finding the next saviour is a good one, but I don’t think they will spend a whole season on it *shudder*

I just hope they explain all these characters absences in a way that doesn’t mean they died. Where Emma is still Hook’s wife and Belle is still Rumple’s.

Don’t ruin all the happy endings you set up for 6 years.

Agreed. Or permanently separated from one another. Otherwise the “New Beginning” for Emma et al. championed in the last episode will have been a cruel joke.

Permanantly separated would be too cruel.  They need to do it to where we have hope that they’ll be together one day. Don’t ruin all the happy endings you put in place.

One thing no one mentioned yet, Yesterday ABC renewed Scandal for a last season, they had no problem announcing it as that, however with OUAT, not only they gave it 22 epis, like they didn`t anounced it ,at least not yet, as last season, can this be that ABC/Disney may think that they may end getting more seasons than only this one?

    Quote

That’s because Shonda decided to end the show, A&E want to continue OUAT as long as they can.

what the heck is there to watch for? Nothing.

I think ABC may still use OUAT as a way to market some Disney to the people. Some people are into the show for that alone. There are still a few Disney characters the show might be able to try to market the heck out of. They did it like crazy with Frozen, and tried it again with Aladdin and Jasmine.

I mean, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Moana pops in next season, or Mary Poppins turns out to be a villain. People will watch.

I really don’t understand this argument. I really don’t think Disney needs OUAT to promote their merch. Billions of people went to see that dreadful BatB remake and I don’t think it has to do anything with the 3 millions who watched OUAT at the same time.

I really can’t wait to see the failure of this reboot. It’s going to be so enjoyable seeing the ratings tank when Adam and Eddy realize that plot plot plot and new characters is not what made people fall in love with your show. It was the relationships, the romance, the family complex. Those are all gonna be gone.

All the characters that make the villains complex characters, are gone.

But it has been that way for 3.5 seasons, I don’t see why it makes any difference now.

The difference was it had the romance, it had the core family, it had the complex characters. Now it has nothing.
